OH MY! I looooooooove my card this week! I love the colors and the gold embossing powder-- if you have not found a great gold embossing powder....it's a MUST to get this Imagine Crafts gold embossing powder!! I'm in LOOOOOOOVE! I also love the design-- super easy to create this card because I used oversized journaling cards by We R Memory Keepers (Simply Happy)! LOVE
You can't really see the gold embossing powder in this photo.

I used several stamp sets for this card-- you wouldn't think so since this card is so CAS! I used the Paper Smooches Spring Groves (bird), Woofers & Tweeters (sentiment), Birthday Sampler (sentiment), and the Streamers (banner) stamp sets. I also used the Streamers coordinating die for the two banners. I loooooooove this card!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Dec. Designer Drafts

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week we are sharing a DESIGNER DRAFT challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following sketch:
**Sentiments can be placed anywhere on the sketch.

My card is very simple-- based on the sketch as well as THIS layout by Janna Werner. LOVE her style! And I thought this layout would be perfect for this sketch. I used the diag design for the left panel, and the vellum and little note as the two center panels. I did move the green strip down and used alphas. So I think I followed this sketch.... maybe 80%! LOL!

I created a graduation card for someone that should be graduating from college in May! I can't wait to share who that is:) I used the Hey Boy paper collection by Basic Grey along with vellum paper and washi tape. I stamped the male image from the Paper Smooches Off the Charts on the reverse side of the vellum to create a soft gray design. I also used the sentiment from the PS Chart Topper set. LOOOOOOVE how simple this card is! Thanks for the inspiration, Janna;)
Tsukineko: Memento Gray Flannel, Memento Luxe Espresso Truffle

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs, get inspired, and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details!!!! This challenge ends December 28th. I cannot wait to see what you make!!!

**Please click HERE or HERE for my Virtual Smooches video!
Today is Confetti Camera day over on the Reverse Confetti blog. Every Thursday, the spotlight shines on one of the Confetti Crew designers and offers a glimpse into their creative process through a series of interview questions about themselves and their project created just for that day.

Today is my day!!!!! And I've got a special treat for you!
Button
I've created another video! I answer the Confetti Camera question: What is your favorite tip/trick? If you know me..... you might have guessed that I love to fussy cut/paper piece! LOL! In this video I share how I fussy cut (and about 10 tips!)! Nothing is original.... but it's how I create my paper pieced images and cut out small images or sentiments. Click HERE or HERE for my video!
I fussy cut the sentiment from silver Metallic paper. LOVE

That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for links to my videos. And stop by the RC Facebook page and "like" us!!

Ribbon Carousel and Paper Smooches SPARKS challenges (Anything Goes)

Hello, friends:}
Have you played along with this month's Ribbon Carousel challenge yet??? The RCC is now doing monthly challenges with a huge prize at the end for one lucky player!!! The prize::: a ribbon carousel!!!!!! This month's theme/challenge--- ANYTHING GOES

This is a super EASY challenge! If you use ribbon on your creation (twine, ribbon, thread, etc!), you can enter it in this challenge:) LOVE it!

So... this time of year I'm super busy... and I have an idea for this challenge but was unable to finish it before the deadline (and before I fell asleep!).... soooooooooooo..... I've created the EASIEST card for today. **NOTE: I will share another project that's perfect for this time of year and for the RCC challenge SOON!

My card is actually perfect for me right now. I need to "let it go". God has asked me to let go.... and I thought I had... however, I'm clinging to "it" just as much as I was before! LOL! I tend to have "white knuckles".... but I need to take this advice and "let it go" and follow Him. **NOTE: I wanted the card to say, "Let it go & let God." but I wasn't sure that was how the saying went!

I used basic teal cardstock with red vellum. I used the Paper Smooches Alphadot and Hullabaloo stamp sets. I added a small black floss for the string. EASY! Now if only following this advice was easy!!!! LOL! This card is also perfect for the Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes challenge! I LOOOOOOOVE Anything Goes-- it makes it so easy to enter:)
I'm not a huge fan of CAS creations (mainly because I love to add more and more and more)...
 but this card says it all! LOVE it!
That's it for me today--but make sure you stop by the RCC blog for more details for this challenge and DT inspiration!!! And click HERE to link up your creation!

And be sure to order your own Ribbon Carousel HERE! They are selling fast--- and in January the store will be taking a small break. So get one NOW while they are only $45.00 :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Happy Birthday, CAROL!!! {a special blog hop}

Hello, friends:}

I was asked to join in a VERY special blog hop celebrating Carol's birthday! Happy birthday, Carol!!!!!! **Please click HERE for the entire list of blogs!!! Several of my crafty friends are joining in this hop!!! HOOOOOOORAY:)

Since we are celebrating Carol, I thought I would use some of the reasons I love Carol for my card design.

  1. Carol is one of my FAV friends- so I'm using some of my FAV papers (Heidi Swapp Serendipity).
  2. Carol leaves so many comments on my blog/Virtual Smooches blog/etc- so I'm using my favorite stamps and dies by Paper Smooches
  3. I love that Carol joins in the fun with the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge- so I'm entering this card in this week's challenge (ANYTHING GOES)!!!
  4. I love that I have an "international" friend!! Right now it's snowing up there- so I thought I would create a neon and bright card (to represent the weather here in FL!)!!
There's so much more that I love about Carol... but I didn't want you to miss out on her card! LOL! I used some pretty diagonal glittered paper for the background and then paper pieced a cupcake from the PS Hullabaloo stamp set. **NOTE: Carol, I hope that you like cupcakes! LOL! I created elements by die cutting a vellum flag/banner- LOOOOVE! Other dies I used include PS Word Bubbles and Hearts
You can't see it-- but the vellum banner goes above the card! LOVE it!
Tsukinkeo: VersaMark, Memento Luxe: Wedding Dress, Espresso Truffle
Imagine CraftsIridescent embossing powder

That's it for me today! Carol, I hope that you have a fabulous birthday! Celebrate you and eat some cake for us:) Psalm 118:24 Love you TONS!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Your comments and love/support mean so much to me! Have a blessed day:)
