Today I've got a special video!!! I'm sharing two cards using the Chickaniddy Twirly Girly. There are so many embellishments and patterned papers from this collection that are perfect for adding detail to your creations!
The first card that I share is clean and simple. I used several patterned papers and a couple of embellishments including some stickers, labels, and alphas.

Chickaniddy Supplies: Paper Grandma's Quilt (TG140S10), This & That (TG140S07), Tea Party (TG140S03), Goldie Lox (CN14SP001); Stickers Twirly Girly Alpha Stickers (TG14EB01), Sticker Sheet (TG14EB02)

But I wanted MORE! LOL! I pulled out more of my Chickaniddy stickers, brads, and papers to create a similar card but with MORE details! I love this second card! This is more like my style- modern, fun, graphic, layered, freestyle... LOVE

Paper Smooches SPARKS April Designer Drafts challenge

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week we are sharing a DESIGNER DRAFT challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following sketch:
**Sentiments can be placed anywhere on the sketch.

I apologize for not following the sketch as closely as I should! I really tried-- but I just can't help but be ME! LOL! For this sketch-- I'm going to say I followed it about 60%! That's lower than I normally like to do! Here's how I changed it:
I created a birthday card-- I need about fifteen of these right now! LOL! I used some Dear Lizzy/Becky Higgins Polka Dot Party 12x12 and Project life papers for this card. I added some washi tape as part of that background which really makes the yellow pop!!! ***This is probably why I say I only followed the sketch 60%--- that background isn't really equal! The orange side in the sketch is way smaller than the green! LOL! I stamped sentiments from the Paper Smooches Birthday Sampler set and die cut another sentiment from the PS Birthday Words dies.
That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs, get inspired, and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details!!!! This challenge ends May 3rd. I cannot wait to see what you make!!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Paper Smooches SPARKS April Anything Goes (wk3) challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week is another ANYTHING GOES challenge. EASIEST challenge EVER!
I created this card a couple of weeks ago... I was on the phone with my younger brother and decided to mess around with my Tsukineko Kaleidacolor ink pads. I used them to make a watercolor design and LOOOOOOOOOVED the result.

The only problem is that I couldn't remember how I did it! LOL! I was talking with Carrel and crafting...and then all of a sudden realized that I needed to remember how I created my card! LOL!

So I went online to find a card design that I could CASE--- I love this watercolor look so much that I wanted it to pop! I wasn't sure how to do that (this is my FIRST time working with "watercolors")....and sometimes I get stuck and need inspiration! I came across THIS layout by Wilna. She used paints but it was the exact look I was looking for! I CASED her page design using striped washi tape, splatters (made with my Imagine Crafts irRESISTible Tuxedo Black spray), and the white die cut over the design. LOOOOOOVE! ThanksWilna for sharing your creation and for inspiring me:)
I used the Paper Smooches Simply Said and Happy Birthday sentiments along with the PS Birthday Words die cuts. LOOOOOVE LOVE LOVE how this turned out!
I kind of hate that I had to CASE Wilna's design-- I wish I would have thought of this myself! LOVE it!

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love
And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends April 26th. I cannot wait to see what you make!!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Chickaniddy: Hello Spring card

Hello, friends:)
 photo picasioncom_8146e2e38e727ecc241fe5a27ac0c266.gif

Today I'm sharing a Chickaniddy project using the new Twirly Girly collection. These papers, embellishments, and stickers are perfect for Spring and just about any girly-girl! LOVE

I created a very simple Spring card basing my entire design around a tag that I found in the 6x6 Twirly Girly paper pad. I knew that I wanted to layer a couple of banners/tags together. I also knew I wanted to use these super cute pink polka dot alpha stickers for part of the sentiment!

I added a butterfly clip and hemp cord to add a bit of extra flair to the tags! I added glossy accents to the Chickaniddy alpha stickers to finish my card. I LOVE the simplicity but details on this card! LOVE!

Chickaniddy Supplies: Paper Piggy Tails (TG140S12), This & That (TG140S07), 6x6 paper pad (TG14PD01); Stamps Date Night (DN14ST01); Stickers Twirly Girl (TG14EB01); Reverse Confetti die: Tag Me; Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko: VeraMark ink, Gold embossing powder

I really love using alpha stickers on my cards and creations. To make it easier to apply these letters in a straight line, I just add them using a ruler and tweezers.

1. Create card base using polka dot paper.
2. Die cut banner using yellow diagonal paper.
3. Cut out tag and punch a hole.
4. Add alpha stickers (using a ruler and tweezers).
5. Stamp and emboss sentiment.
6. Add banner and tag to card using foam dots.
7. Finish card by adding hemp cord, butterfly clip, and glossy accents to alpha stickers.
I hope that you will use the new Twirly Girly Chickaniddy  alpha stickers on your next project!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy SPRING!!!!!!! Be blessed:)

VIDEO: Reverse Confetti April Color challenge

Hello, friends:}

I'm sharing a video today using some NEW Reverse Confetti stamps and dies!

This card was inspired by the RC April Color Challenge {light blue, green, plum}.

I have to say that this card really took me out of my comfort zone! Get ready for this.....I colored with Copics! OH MY!
Look at that coloring on the bunny--- WOWZA! I knock my socks off;) Just kidding! I need LOTS of practice with coloring! This is just "outlining"! LOL!

My friend Trisha stopped by yesterday and we practiced coloring the little bunny from the RC Bebe Bunny set. I felt pretty good after Trisha left... but then during my video.... I had to text her twice to show her how I was doing! LOL!

Here's the video! Hope you enjoy:}
I used some Imagine Crafts gold embossing powder for the sentiment (RC All About You stamp set). I also used some sequins that I got from Pretty Pink Posh. Add in a RC Love Note die cut heart and Double Edge Scallop Border.... and that's my card:)
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration and to join in the FUN with the April Color challenge! And be sure to follow us on Facebook HERE
