Welcome to the first H{ippity} Hop for 2010!! I am in love love love with Ippity! If you want to start at the beginning of the hop...click HERE.
My card today is for the IHHC4. Eryn challenged us to "resolve to do something NEW". I had to think about what I wanted to do that was NEW...I was going to start using some of my embellishments that I have laying around. **NOTE:: I am a huge huge HUGE hoarder! I buy and buy and never use anything....eh! But then I saw how much paper I had...and got an idea. This card has three things that are new to me: 1) I used a limited number of supplies. I only used stamps, ink, and paper [and glue of course]. 2) Since I confessed to hoarding embellishments...I might as well tell you that I buy paper in bulk! If I really really like a paper...I will get as many as I can. I know that is silly! But I feel like I might not ever get to buy it again- like it will go "out of style" or "out of print". So the paper I used is from Bazzill Basics- Sparkle T18 and Kraft White Lattice. **NOTE:: I have another confession...I used to call it Brazil Paper! YIKES! and 3) I normally take about an hour or more to make just one card (I am a nut for trying to make things perfect). So I resolved to try a simple simple card. This card took me about 10 minutes! CAS!! **NOTE:: I usually say that I will create a card that is CAS...but that is never how long it takes (the idea was 10 minutes!)...this one really was CAS! Maybe even 9.5 minutes! HA:}
