FWF...and some challenge cards

Hello, friends:}


Welcome to FWF!! I love Fridays--I love love love UNITY! Here are couple of creations from this week...

This first card is for the EtsyInspired Challenge. We had to visit Elie's Happy Hats--I wanted to pinch each little baby's cheeks! ACK! They were soooooooooo cute! I was inspired by lots of these hats...but only had time to make one card. I decided on using this bear hat as my inspiration. I used Unity's Spring Unity bee stamp. I thought it turned out super cute.

Here are some cards for Father's day. I made them awhile back (maybe at the beginning of the year). I just forgot to post them! I used Unity's August 08 KOTM stamp set. Both my father and father-in-law love to be outside and camping...so this set was perfect for these cards!

This card was created for the Stamp Away with Me challenge of reusing an item. I reused an old pick from Trav's collection. I love how it has a pick on it--and says "PICK a date". ACK! I love love love this card--one of my FAVs!

This week was so busy that I didn't get much stamping/crafting in. I did have an order for a special journal/book for a friend. Her niece is being confirmed this weekend, and I made a "sacramental journey" journal for her. This is a pic of the accordion book closed- it has a nice paper wrap with flourishes/etc. When opened (paper wrap slides off), it has six pages of coordinating colored dp and pics. I made a matching card as well. I thought it turned out great--I LOVE that dp! It is American Crafts.
