Loonie Stampers Challenge #78...and some other cards

Hello, friends:}

I hope you are having a great Super Bowl Sunday--I didn't know it was today...just shows how much I love sports/football!! I do remember as a kid going to my Uncle Todd's house to watch the show/commercials/music...and the commercials were AWESOME!! Anyway...

I have a card that I created based on the Loonie Stampers Challenge #78 colors. I visit Char Austin's website DAILY just to get inspired  **NOTE:: You NEED to visit it too! AMAZING!...and saw there was a challenge. I thought I would give it a try--We were to use melon, lemon, summer sunrise, and berry sorbet. I actually got this sketch for this card from a scrapbooking magazine (Scrapbooks ETC. Jan/Feb. 2010). LOVE it! It is so CAS!!! I used Unity's Create Your Life stamp. I masked it four times to get it to spread out on four pieces. I like it!

This is a card that I created for my cousin Amy. She asked for a card for vday for her husband, Tommy. He has a metal detector...and likes to use it on the beach. I love the sentiment on the inside. I used foil for the "treasure" and two stamps for the clouds-I first stamped the circles with watermark ink and then punched holes with a needle and drew around them with white ink for a cloudy look. ACK---love this card! Hope they like it too??!! 

 

I also wanted to share a special card that my new friend, Elizabeth, made for me! She is so sweet! Look at the beautiful flower on the envelope! I never ever think of the envelope! I also love how she used a premade card and embellished it--she is CRAFTY:}
