Hello, friends:}
Today starts another fabulous challenge over at the All Things Unity challenge blog!! Thanks to all our players for the last challenge. So fun checking out everyone's paper piecing! Great job:}
ATU #18 challenge is to make a card [or project, scrapbook, journal page, altered item, tag, etc.] with monochromatic colors. Sticking to just one color with many hues! I had the perfect card for this! I was asked by Amber, a great new friend, to make her Christmas cards this year. I was so excited because her theme is Breast Cancer! What an awesome Christmas card! I loved all the hues of pink--passion fruit, berrylush, strawberry, lip gloss, oh my! So many hues to pick from. I love the new bling on a roll--so easy to get two lines of bling!! LOVE IT! I used my Unity Christmas Bough set for the sentiment! PERFECT! Love how this card turned out:} **NOTE:: If you look closely, the fire truck is pink! Guardians of the Ribbon Pink Heals Tour is a group of firefighters, police officers, and leaders in the community, who drive around the United States in Pink Fire Trucks. Their purpose is to raise awareness and money for women and their fight against all cancers. Please visit www.pinkfiretrucks.org or www.pinkheals.com for more information or to make donations. Now...I just have to make it several several times!! LOL!
That's it for me today--be sure to stop by our wonderful All Things Unity DT members' blogs! Gotta love all this Unity and Ippity eye candy!!

Limelight Sketch
Hello, friends!!
It has been a crazy two weeks here at my house!! I have several orders...and I'm finally getting on track after my migraines! PRAISE God:} So I apologize for not posting more pics. I've got some more creations in store for you--so no worries!!
Today I would like to share with you a card that I made using the Limelight #59 challenge sketch. SO FUN! I have missed playing with Mandy and the Limelight team! Great friends!! I love love love this card--unfortunately I need to use it for a friend and her family. They just lost their father/grandpa the other day. I am hoping that the memories of 'Pop' will bring smiles and laughter. We will see him again in Heaven one day!! HOOORAY:} For my card--I used Unity's butterfly from my August 2009 KOTM. I also used the sentiment from Unity's Butterfly Beauty [one of my favorite sets!]. Pretty simple--but I just love these fall colors together!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope that you will come back tomorrow to see my All Things Unity challenge card. I also hope that you will play along with our challenge! It's a monochromatic theme! FUN! Thanks again for stopping by! Love when we visit--be blessed:}

EIC #112 {BeiLeXian}
Hello, friends:}
I am so happy that I was in my studio last night--even if it was for only 30 minutes! I have been super busy...and sick (a week or so ago with migraines...but that puts me behind big time!). So I was excited to get crafting again with this new EtsyInspired challenge! This week we are headed over to BeiLeXian's store! WOW--I was inspired by so many prints in their store!! You have got to check them out.
Our sponsor this week is Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. This company has some cute stamps (clear and digital)! They have have a super cute blog--check them out HERE.
My first card was made awhile back for the Unity WCMD challenges. I saved it for this week because I just LOVE these little owls in this print! I love using my Unity owl stamps [What A Hoot!]. Love all that distressing--with ink and tearing the paper. LOVE it:}
This next card is one of my FAVS! I have been known to send Trav a card with a sweet potato on the front--the inside would say "I YAM...". I haven't sent him one in almost six months! SO this card is for HIM!! I was inspired by that little rock with the heart balloon. SO CUTE! I recreated this print with my sweet potato. LOVE it! I put that "I YAM thankful for you" on the back. Simple--but I LOVE it!
That's it for me today--but don't worry! The EIC DT members have some more eye candy for you! Be sure to stop by their blog and leave them some love!!

PDCC #53
Hello, friends:}
WOWOWOW! I am so thankful for all of The Play Date Cafe players! WOW! I was dropping my jaw at all the gorgeous creations from last week. I left several comments that said "LOOOOVE IT!" or "GET OUT!" or "OH MY GOOOOODNESS!". I was blown away--thank you to our players! You are a big part of our team too!! THANK YOU:}
This week over at The Play Date Cafe our sponsor is Mark's Finest Papers! WOW--what a great stamp company. They are offering up a fabulous stamp set for one of our players! HOOORAY!
This week's color story is a splash: black and white with a splash of burgundy. So fun. I went CAS for this card--lots of white space. And I went with a part of the stamp set that normally wouldn't be used (or so I think!). Mark's Finest Papers gave all the PDCC some stamp sets to use for this week--THANKS!! My set was Flourish and Frames. I LOVE all the sentiments in this set--but that cat [Speedy] just popped out to me! I def. wanted to use it for my card. I made a CAS card based on a card found on Charmaine's blog. This card is a mini and perfect for our guest that visit our home. I like to make our guests feel extra special--like leaving gifts and cards on their bed when they arrive....or notes in the bathroom with extra lotions and shampoo...LOVE it! This is the perfect note for our next guest. I love that sparkle {too cute!}.
I hope you will join along in the fun! This color story will end on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 11:59pm. And to help inspire you....check out the rest of the PDCC DT members' blogs! OH MY!

EIC #111 {stilettoheights}
Hello, friends:}
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'm excited to share with you the new EtsyInspired featured store::: Stilettoheights! What a fun store! And our sponsor this week is Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. OH MY--you have to check this company out:} I'm really excited about our prizes this week...you could win 1) 2 free prints {winner's choice} from Stilettoheights or 2) $15 store credit to SCRS!! LOVE IT!
But wait...there's more [said in your best TV infomercial voice]! Stilettoheights has offered a 20% discount to all our EtsyInspired players/lurkers/readers/etc. All you have to do is type INSPIRED20 in the comment section and wait for your new invoice before paying. AND!!! SCRS has offered our EtsyInspired players a 10% discount. Just use the code:: 10ETSYIN. This is a "win win win" week for everyone! HOOORAY:]
I was inspired by lots of prints over on the Etsy store...but I picked this beautiful print of a woman and the color combo of cream, brown, pink, and a bit of orange. LOVE how there is text over the woman and yet still in the background. I used several stamps [including Unity, Ippity, and Hero Arts] for this card. I think it is simple...but packed with lots of details! I am thinking of adding the word HOPE on the front for a friend who is battling cancer. LOVE it:}
I was also inspired by this fun pic that was used for a custom order. I love that the ladies have masks on...so I pulled out my mustache masks (not sure that is what I would call them...???) that I made for Halloween. If you want an instant cover-up or disguise, just use one of these! LOVE them--they make me laugh! Trav and I {and even Olsen} messed around with these mustaches for some fun pics!
That's it for me today! I hope you enjoyed your visit. Be sure to stop by the other EIC DT members' blogs....they've got some pretty amazing creations to share with you today too!

Hello, friends...and friends with flair:}
LOOOOOOOOVE my Unity stamps! LOOOOOOOOOOVE my PDC challenges!! Better yet--Unity + PDCC! That's what's happening over there this week! Unity is sponsoring the The Play Date Cafe challenge! It's our one year anniversary--head over HERE if you haven't checked it out yet! Today, Brooke and Lesley, from the Unity DT, will be sharing their talent with us!! THANKS, ladies:}
I haven't shared these cards yet--I made them for the Unity WCMD challenges. I had a great time with these challenges! I really stepped out of my "comfort" zone of regular cards and ideas!! This first card was created for the WCMD challenge #22 {handmade flower embellishment}. I never ever make my own flowers...probably because I don't understand how to make those 3D rolled flowers fit in an envelope without smashing...so I went a different route. I used vellum and made petals (several layers) for this soft flower. Loved how it turned out! And I looooooooove that paper. It has been sitting on my desk for WEEKS! I used Unity's Bug Set for the sentiment and if you look close...that text is from Treasure To Me set. So fun and simple:}
This next card has been made for my FIL's bday in January! I'm trying to stay ahead:} I also made this for the Unity WCMD challenge #13 {paint}. I used brown paint for the polka dots and white paint for the grid and mushroom. I really like how this turned out! I used Unity's Our Stories Our Life [mushroom], postcard stamp, Learning {year by year} [ruler], Kitchen Logic [oval], sentiment [July KOTM], and Ippity's Dots For Sure [polka dots] and tag from Snippity of Ippity set. LOVE LOVE LOVE combining sets!!
This card was super fun to make--it was my first swing card {Unity's WCMD #6}. I like that little circle that was cut in half--kind of ties the whole swing card together!! I used Unity's What A Hoot! set [paper piecing it of course!]. I am not sure I mastered the folding and scoring of this type of card--but it was fun to make! Might have to try it again!!
My last card was created for this week's Unity Addicts challenge {stamping on felt}. I KNEW I had to use felt for these mittens when I saw this set! I used Unity's October KOTM for the mittens and sentiment. So so so fun! And an easy mini card:}
That's it for me today! There's more Unity Flair shared on Unity's blog--you will find a complete list of blogs to hop! And don't forget to leave some love--you could win FREE Unity:}
