What's Growing On...Dad?

I've got a quick card to share with you today. I've been wanting to play along with the Chevron Chic Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. Chevron....that's a hard design for me to work with. Then I found this super cute masculine colored chevron paper (I think it's chevron???). I love this little mustache image and the sentiment--it's perfect for Trav's dad for Father's Day! Which makes this card perfect for the Paper Issues challenge {Time for the Guys}. Pretty simple and masculine. LOVE that!!!

I'm trying photos without the flower frog...thoughts?

Tuesday Trigger inspiration

I just love the Moxie Fab blog--I'm always wanting to play along with the Tuesday Triggers...but I always miss  the deadlines! Well...NOT TODAY:}

I love these stacked Pyrex bowls--and I instantly thought of my recycled candy container that I made in Feb. It was the perfect colors and with the super cute bird {Unity's Togetherness Icons}. 

Thought it needed to be blown up to see better:)

Because I love that container--I decided to make this super cute matching card. I love that stitched paper! I used my Unity bird with the sentiment from Unity's A Little Happy kit. PERFECT:}

ATU #32 From the Hearth

The All Things Unity challenge is starting a new 2 week challenge today! This challenge has a FOOD theme--use your Unity and Ippity stamps that are food related.

For my creation, I used Unity's Garden Variety tomato and the sentiment is from Unity's Small Things Matter Most KOTM. I LOVE this simple card--it wasn't so simple to make...but I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I am also entering this in the Tooty Fruity challenge--Ashley said a tomato is considered FRUIT????--if not, I apologize for entering this in the challenge! But Ashley said it was:)

LOVE....6 years

I have a quick post to share with you today. Last Sunday was a special day-- 6 years ago Trav and I sang together for the first time and that is when we met {I say it was the day I knew I was going to marry him! LOVED him from the very first day!}. So I made him this super cute card combining Unity's hand stamp [Amazing Me] and Paper Smooches veggies and sentiment [Vegtastic] stamp sets. I LOOOOOOVE how it turned out! So cute!

I have a quick post for you....I had a reject that I just looooooove and have been hoarding since probably March! I submitted this for the Circus themed call for Paper Crafts magazine. I just love that little elephant {Unity Wild Crazy}. I also used some cloud stamps from Unity's Togetherness Families for his ears. I love that he is "feeling down"!! Soooo cute. I actually didn't design this on my own...TRAV helped me:)

Oh--I just love this card--that twine, the papers, the coloring of the sentiment--I LOOOOOVE it!

PDCC #83- Goodbye Sarah!

Hello, friends:}

Today starts another amazing color story over at The Play Date Cafe. This week is a sad week for the PDCC--we are saying "Goodbye" to our sweet co-founder, Sarah Anderson. One of my favorite projects Sarah has shared with us while being on the PDCC has been PDCC58 {pictured below--NOT our PDCC color story this week}. I love that Sarah creates 3D images and creations! I love love love the textures that Sarah brings to each creation! LOVE it! 

Since I joined the team, Sarah has been a great friend and more than just a teammate-- she encourages and shares in my success. I will truly miss her being on the team--but I know that God has some amazing plans for her! Sarah--I cannot thank you enough for believing in me and letting me join in the best team ever! I am so thankful for the PDCC and how I've gotten to know you through our challenges and Skype. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for you and what adventures you are going to be taking!! God bless, dear friend:} 


Now for our current color story---

In honor of Sarah and her last challenge, we are having a color splash (Sarah's fav challenge). This week we are doing black/white with a SPLASH of green! The PDCC has a fabulous sponsor as well::: Skipping Stone. Oh my--CA-CUTE stamps! 

And because I loved my stamps so much, I made two cards! This first one is for Sarah! It's called "Forever Bunnies"--meaning Forever BUDDIES. I love these little hares! So cute--and perfect for the black and white theme. This stamp set is Skipping Stone Gray Hares. 

This second card is so cute! I love this sentiment and rabbit from the same set. I love that this week's colors are black and white with a splash of green--that made this "sick" rabbit really POP! LOVE it!

I just wanted to pop in and share some RAKs that I've received in the past 2 months. I just love receiving cards from friends. I am in awe of everyone's talents! LOVE LOVE LOVE these cards!


First up--cards by my friends and teammates over at The Play Date Cafe! LOVE this team!!! Cards are by Colleen Dietrich , Ruby 2 Shoes, and Jaclyn Miller. LOVE LOVE LOVE each of these! My fav part is seeing these creations on their blogs and commenting on them and then opening up an envelope with the exact card I was gushing over:} LOVE it! 

The card on the left was included with some goodies that I won from Audrey Yeager's blog. I also received this card from a good friend on the EIC team--Ashley Nguyen Newell. 

Imagine my surprise when I saw this beautiful tag and card come in the mail from She!! Just stunning!

And this last card came about three weeks ago.... totally unexpected! I was so happy to see this beautiful card created by my friend, Julie Campbell. OH MY! LOVE it!!! 

I cannot even begin to tell you how much each card and creation made me smile and encouraged me. I was so excited to open these packages! THANK YOU sooooo much!!!!
