Paper Smooches challenge- May #1

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing a project for the Paper Smooches "FLOWERS" challenge for May.

I found THIS graphic and wanted to recreate it for my project today. I needed help so I called in some backup from Trav and my Mother-In-Law, Lori (she's visiting this weekend from South Carolina!)! Trav helped me figure out which flower stamps I could use, and he even fussy cut some of the flowers! 😊 I think this card turned out perfectly--- I do wish I would have stamped the sentiment "MOM" a bit lower, but my original idea was to create a small stitch line under it... Trav vetoed that idea! LOL! I used the following PS stamps/dies: Precious Mom, Blossoming Buds, and Botanicals 3.

I've created a fun graduation cap shaped card using the NEW Grad Cap Card die set. 

I wanted to go a different route than a regular cap... so I searched for what grads are doing these days with their caps and lots of them are decorating them (this is *NEW* to me! We didn't do anything crazy at our graduation! Not in high school or college! And as a side note... I only graduated from those two! I never had a graduation ceremony for kindergarten or 5th grade/etc! So funny! LOL!)! 

I decided to go with an adventure theme for the cap. I used my favorite Crate Paper StoryTeller papers {I just love these!} with the cork as the bottom and a map as the top. I used several other PS stamps including the NEW New Beginnings set.

Paper Smooches: April RECAP

Hello friends:) 

Today I'm sharing the Paper Smooches April release projects that I made! 

I'm not sure if you've been checking out the PS DT projects on the PS blog... but you should definitely start going there daily for inspiration! LOVE LOVE LOVE this month's releases and projects by the DT! 

Here's what I created using the new stamps and dies, including the PS Pineapple Crush, Pineapple Crush 2, Cross Stitch die, Thanks So Much die, and Harlequin die. 

HERE is the original fox I created:) Back in 2013! 

I enjoy creating projects for Kim and Paper Smooches----each month the releases blow me away! My favorite this month is the..... Cross Stitch die  Probably because I did some cross-stamp-stitching HERE and HERE back in the day for the Virtual Smooches blog:) LOL! I also can't get enough of that pineapple die (or stamp set)--- LOVE!

Today I'm sharing my fourth creation for the Paper Smooches April challenge--- this month we are all about SHOWERS!!!!!!!

This week I'm continuing the fun with rainbows and clouds... this card's title is "Rainbow Love"! I was inspired by a poster from THIS site. 

My card from last week is to the left... and this week's card is kind of the same but now the cloud is in love! LOL! 

I used the following PS stamps/dies: Luminous Spring, Cute Fruit, Clouds, Rainbow.

Virtual Smooches: Argyle Design {using the NEW Harlequin die}

Paper Smooches challenge- April #3

Hello, friends:}

Happpppppppppy Resurrection day--- happy Easter! And a HUGE happy birthday to my favorite friend, Kim!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE you! Enjoy and eat cake- Psalm 118:24! 

Today I'm sharing my third creation for the Paper Smooches April challenge--- this month we are all about SHOWERS!!!!!!! That could be a lot of different things: 1️⃣rain, rainbow, showers 2️⃣baby shower cards or decor and baby invites 3️⃣ bridal showers, honoring the bride 4️⃣ showering with love.

This week I went with rainbows and clouds. This cloud in particular loves to jumprope with a rainbow rope! LOL! I used the following PS stamps/dies: Luminous Spring, Shadows, Cute Fruit, Fruit People, Clouds, Rainbow.
