Sunday--my week for GROWING with UNITY!

Hello, friends:}

Today starts my week for Growing with Unity! LOVE it! I love love love Unity and all the peeps! I will be sharing a couple of cards each day....with a giveaway at the end! So be sure to stop by daily--and leave some love;}

This set was created for the Embellish Magazine challenge. We were to use the colors red, black, tan, and white. The twist or added extra was to make a party favor. I know my friend Char made a baby set...but I couldn't resist. I wanted to make the card say "Wild About You" and the journal would say "Wild Secrets"...but I didn't want anyone to get the wrong ideas with that journal [like it is a love triangle or something--I wanted it to be secret love notes to and from spouses...eh]. So I went with the baby theme. This card was created using my newest Unity stamps from the Soiree and Such set. I love that tag and the baby onesie! The zebra print...is actually tissue paper! Love it! These cards can be made for a baby shower. And the journal could be used for the guest book and stories or advice that the guest have for the soon-to-be parents. I love both--and I think I will be giving it to a friend real soon:}

This next card has been featured before on my blog--but on my other blog. I found Unity back in August 2009. I called Michelle (sweet gal) at the office and asked where I could find the bingo stamp. She said it wasn't available unless I sold wholesale. That is when I started my Unity adventure. I get the kits (store, monthly, and scraping) as well as random sets! I can't get enough. I love Unity! I would love to work for Angela sometime...she is AMAZING! This was my very very first card using Unity--it was made for the Unity Stamp challenge for Unity Bro. I had just received my first set and made a recipe card. I used Unity's tag stamp and the heart from the August KOTM. Wow--my style has really changed! I still love this card--I ended up giving it to Trav because hamburger casserole is one of his FAV meals! Needless to say, I didn't win the challenge- BUMMER! But it didn't stop me from trying again and again and again. **NOTE:: This pic was taken back in Sept. and I have since changed my lighting, box, and set-up like five times...eh. One day I will be happy with my box:}

  19. I am wild about this card! I love the animal print. When my first baby was born I was insistent on there being no pink at her shower or in her room, but any animal print was mama approved! I've lightened up a lot since then, but your card reminded me of those days! Thanks for playing along with us at Embellish! Hugs!
