Reverse Confetti-- Celebrate You {post2}

Hello, friends:}

**Please click HERE or HERE for my Virtual Smooches video and post:)

I had some more time this week to get creative with my Reverse Confetti's stamps and decided to create a fun birthday card-- which is perfect for the Birthday Card Challenge in the Moxie Fab World

I have a specific scripture that I love to share in cards (or on Facebook) for birthdays. Psalm 118:24 "This is the day the Lord has made- let us rejoice and be glad in it." This verse means a lot to me... only because I never really celebrated my birthday. When the day came, I never really remember celebrating and rejoicing... never really had a party... never felt special... so now I share this verse so that the birthday gal/guy will know just how special this day really is!

And from that verse, I created a birthday card using the RC Celebrate Cake, Arrows 'n Elements, and the I Like You stamp sets. I love this card x1000000000! LOVE the neon papers and inks.... love the arrow design! LOVE LOVE LOVE it all:)
I just looooove that double sentiment! FUN!
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration! And be sure to follow us on Facebook HERE. **Also, be sure to check out the RC blog for NEW blog segments!! You will be inspired by the RC DT as we answer questions, show pictures of our studio, and talk about a creation we made!!!

Paper Smooches SPARKS July Picture Perfect challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The fourth week of the month is always a Picture Perfect challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following picture:

I was thinking of doing a sunset design with inks and a black silhouette... but then I was inspired by a combo of neon and vellum. I decided to use the "sun" as my inspiration for the background with the "silhouette" being the sentiment. I love how this card turned out-- I have to admit that it took two tries because I messed up the sentiment on the vellum the first time. I'll have to see if I can use it for another creation later!

This card is super simple and uses just a few items: neon papers, vellum, and the Paper Smooches Thanks Word, Power Rays, and Hot Spots SM1 dies, along with the PS Eco Friendly stamp set.
Not sure if you can see it but the rays come off the card on the right side-- love that design effect with vellum!

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends July 28th. I cannot wait to see what you make--I actually can't wait to see what you are inspired by in this photo!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Mama Elephant: Hustle Highlight

Hello, friends:}
Today the Mama Elephant design team is taking a closer look at the Hustle stamp set. Be sure to stop by the ME blog for more details and inspiration!!!

I think I must have overstayed my CAS welcome... this card looks CAS but it was anything but! It took over three hours to make and I wasted 5 cards and an entire 6x6 paper trying to get the rainbow banner to stamp with my inks! I stamped it 8x on that paper! OY!

Even though this card caused me some trouble... I think this might be one of my FAV cards yet! I LOVE the white space with that sentiment! I also love the scored rectangle around the edge. And that rainbow paper {Basic Grey Kneehighs} is some of my FAV!!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!  The best part of this Hustle stamp set is that there are so many sentiments that you can use with other ME stamps and images! LOVE x10000!
That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by all of the ME DTs' blogs and the ME blog for more inspiration and details. **New ME Stamps are available NOW!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Reverse Confetti and a NEW challenge {post3}

Hello, friends:}

**click HERE for my Mama Elephant Highlight post.
**click HERE for my Virtual Smooches video and post:)

I had some more time this week to get creative with my Reverse Confetti's stamps and decided to play along with the NEW Curtain Call inspiration challenge.

When I heard that the CC's first challenge was a nautical theme... I knew I had to use my Reverse Confetti's Happy Harbor set! This is a very CAS card-- even ONE LAYER! Can you believe it??? I am really getting into this CAS style:)

You might be wondering how I created that sentiment-- I masked the RC Happy Harbor "You're swell" stamp! The "t" was created by using part of the cherry top from the RC Celebrate Cake set! LOVE masking!!!! The rest of the sentiment are Fancy Pants Designs alphas. I added a bit of Whisker Graphics Cherry divine twine for a pop of color.
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration! And be sure to follow us on Facebook HERE. **Also, be sure to check out the RC blog for NEW blog segments!!
