I also love these images from the Paper Smooches Off the Charts and Chart Toppers sets. LOVE x2! And I loooooooooove this soft stamping on vellum- I actually stamped the male symbol on the back of the vellum several times to make it soft yet still visible. I also used the PS Ovals1 medium oval. LOVE x100000000!

I've got a quick card to share today... I was able to play with several of my NEW Reverse Confetti stamps last night! It's rare that I find time to play just for the fun of it:)

I have to say that I've been pretty CAS lately-- do you think it's my new style?!?!! I do love this card- it's perfect for just about anyone!!! And I love that I used several RC sentiments for this card (including Forever Fall and Count Your Rainbows). I also used the RC Lighthearted Letters for the 100%! SOOOOO fun! The papers are from some new journaling pieces that I got from Vanessa (Butterfly Reflections, Ink). LOVE x100000!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Sept. Picture Perfect challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The fourth week of the month is always a Picture Perfect challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following picture:

There are lots of elements that can be used from this pic-- I was inspired by the three butterflies, the jar, the vintage feel (the darker left side made me think of inked edges/etc.)... and something flying around a jar.

So all of those things translated into this card.
This vintage style isn't really my thing... but I love these My Mind's Eye papers together (and I think they fit the challenge well!). I did distress each edge of the paper and all four sides of the card (another technique that I rarely do!). Trav did help me with this card- he told me to put three bees on there (like the photo- three butterflies). I really REALLY wanted to add some flying swirls or dotted lines behind the bees, but Trav said "No. It doesn't need anything." **Not so sure he's right! LOL! To finish the card, I added stitching and a sentiment. Kind of easy... but took awhile due to it being out of my comfort zone. The Paper Smooches stamps I used include: Spring Fling, Artisan Blocks, Hope (to create the honey label), FOLKal Points, Daisies & Paisleys, and Healthy Vibes. I also used my FAV Paper Smooches Crystal Clear1 dies. LOVE that little jar!
Trav even mentioned that he loved that jar- esp. that honeycomb design! When he came into my room, he said, "I like that jar. You did that, didn't you?! Looks awesome!" LOVE that he knows my work <3 i="">

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends September 29th. I cannot wait to see what you make--I actually can't wait to see what you are inspired by in this photo!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

My Anchor with Reverse Confetti

Hello, friends:}

***Please click HERE for my Virtual Smooches video!

I've got a quick card to share today... I was able to play with one of my NEW Reverse Confetti stamps last night! It's rare that I find time to play just for the fun of it:)

I paired the Fancy Pants Designs Trendsetter papers with the RC Happy Harbor and the NEW Lighthearted Letters stamp sets to create this custom card. I love that the Lighthearted Letters stamps allow me to create any sentiment I want!! This is PERFECT for me:) I added some Whisker Graphics Licorice divine twine for extra fun, and that's it! Super simple card. **NOTE: I am pretty upset that my mini stapler decided to cause some problems while stapling the "my" piece down. I guess it adds character.... but why couldn't it add character on scrap paper?! LOL!
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration and special posts. And stop by the RC Facebook page and "like" us!!

Ribbon Carousel #85 Back to School

Hello, friends:}
Have you played along with this month's Ribbon Carousel challenge yet??? The RCC is now doing monthly challenges with a huge prize at the end for one lucky player!!! The prize::: a ribbon carousel!!!!!! This month's theme/challenge--- Back to School

Here in Florida the kids go back to school around the second week of August. Some schools go "year round". I always enjoyed getting the classroom set up for the year- running copies of my favorite curriculum books and workbooks... setting up the desks....making decorations and more! I had the best students! I even had several come back each year to help me set up the classroom with me (SOOOOOOOO awesome!)!!!

I went kind of CAS- I just thought these papers {We R Memory Keepers Hall Pass} didn't need much help! I added some sentiments from the Paper Smooches Chart Toppers set and some dark brown ribbon. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I think this card might be perfect for our friend, Daria. Hope she likes it!
That's it for me today--but make sure you stop by the RCC blog for more details for this challenge and DT inspiration!!! And click HERE to link up your creation!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}
