Hello, friends:}
I have a quick card to share with you today. I saw these cupcakes over on Hope Stamps Eternal [which I've missed participating in--time gets away from me!]. And I thought those colors would look really pretty as a father's day card. I created this using my woodgrain stamp and distress inks. I cut the tag and distressed it with ink and the distressing tool. The only other stamp I used was Ippity's Love in Return. I also used some burlap string that I had sitting around....Simple:)
And now for my new friend! Marian contacted me about buying one of my flower frogs. I love these frogs--they hold my cards, in case you didn't know. I sent her one, and her is her first card on the frog! LOVE it! And look at that beautiful card! Super crafty:} And....I love Marian because she told me about SCAL! If any of you have SCAL--give me more info! I am reading about it and researching it--I guess it goes with your Cricut....and you can cut any font you have on your computer! This excites me!! Thanks, Marian:}
That's it for me today--quick and simple. I have five orders to get out--so I will be in the studio all day! Hope I get everything done because I can't wait to sew some more!!
Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}
ps...just because...if you want extra chances to win the Ippity Books A Flutter....you can leave three seperate comments::
1. Leave a comment about my card
2. Go visit Marian and leave some love HERE--and COME BACK and tell me you did so!
3. Tell me about the SCAL--or give me a pro/con...tell me if you would like to try it...tell me anything!
What a great Father's Day card. I went and left some love over at Marian's blog. I have never heard of Scal, but now I need to research it. LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat cards today, Sav. I love the grad one.
ReplyDeleteI visited Marian's blog. She's got some great grad cards there--and I let her know.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what SCAL is--guess I'm going to have to research it. Sounds like it could be interesting.
ReplyDeleteSweet Father's Day card! Sure Cuts A Lot (SCAL) has a lot of possibilities, the only thing is that you will lose your warranty on your Cricut if you use it. That's my understanding anyway. There are lots of cool things though! Here is a very cool website it's Lauren Meader's http://mytimemadeeasy.com
ReplyDeletePerfect Father's Day card.. love its simplicity and masculinity!
ReplyDeleteLeft a little "sugah" for Marian!
ReplyDeleteWonderful clean lines! Great Father's Day Card Thanks for playing along with the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge!
ReplyDeleteHi Savannah! Thanks so much for sharing my site and card with your friends...very sweet of you! and thank you ALL for the kind comments ;-) I love my frog!! and I wanted to let you all know what I have found on the Sure Cuts A Lot (SCAL) Software. The product is wonderful, I've had it a week and the customer service by both Michelle of ScrappingTable.com and Support@Craftedge.com has been AWESOME!! I encourage you to read these two links for more FAQs...I have read that the warranty is NOT voided for the Cricut, however, if you all are like me, keep researching and see if this is a product that will match your needs. Also, the sites note that any True Type Font can be cut with the SCAL...that's a lot of possibilities ;-)
