Hello, friends:}
Happy H{ippity} Hop!! I have a couple of creations to share with you today! I love when I can squeeze in some time with my Ippity stamps:}
The first card was not created by me--it was designed and made by my friend, Jackie! I love love love when she comes over to my house to craft. We have a great lunch....we craft....we chit chat....LOVE IT! I featured her scrapbook picture frames on here a couple of weeks ago. The last two visits, Jackie has wanted to make Christmas cards. So fun--esp. since Ippity has some super cute Holiday themed sets. She used Ippity's Season of Joy sentiment for this card. She created the 3D snowman with the cricut and the snow is perfect pearls (silver). SO FUN! I think Jackie might be the next Ippity chick:}
I created this next card for the Unity WCMD challenge #5 {stamping on fabric}. I used muslin to emboss the seaweed/plant {Ippity's Fishy Philosophy}. Then I rubbed 'broken china' distress ink for the sea. LOVE how this turned out! I also stamped Ippity's Love In Return circle stamp (original) at the top. The sentiment and 3D fish are also from Fishy Philosophy. LOVE it!
That's it for me today--sorry I don't have more. I did have some migraines over the weekend, which caused me to not visit several blogs (esp. FWF! SO SAD!!!). I am hoping to get lots of rest today so I can hop around later!! Thanks to all who have stopped by my blog--your support and encouragement mean so much to me!! Your comments even help me forget about my migraines/pain:}
Be sure to stop by the Ippity blog for a complete list of Ippity Chicks and all their creations! I cannot wait to see all these projects and cards!!
Thanks again for stopping by! LOVE Unity and Ippity! Great friends and great stamps!! Be blessed:}
Hi Savannah!
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing well! Are you still suffering from migraines? You have that for several days? I have them sometimes as well, but it's (almost) always over after a good night or day sleep.. luckily! All the best for you!
How great you also have a friend to craft with, I like crafting alone a lot, but even more together with a friend! You inspire each other! Love your friends card and yours as well, cute fishie and the seaweed looks perfect on the fabric!! Very nice!!

Wendy

ReplyDeleteMy sympathies on the migraines! :( Unfun!!!
Friends that love to papercraft as much as you do? PRICELESS! I had just trouble with the "fabric or other medium" part of the challenges. Ended up using foil since I don't own much fabric. Your card is so delightful! And your friends holiday card just makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteOh Savannah, I am so sorry that you are battleing with migranes.
ReplyDeleteMy family has such a predisposition for them. 2 of my sisters,my mom,and 2 of my brother. 2 of us are lucky and don't get them very often. one of my sisters and one brother are on a new regimine that really seems to be working...they are taking a blood pressure med that has helped them greatly. they use to have them almost everyday. my one sister still does because her dr. won't agree to doing it....if you want any info on it feel free to ask. It could help!
Anyway, these cards are gorgeous and I love your fishy card,just beautiful!!
Take care of yourself,Big hugs,
Mary
