It's been really crazy here this week! I apologize for not posting more--but I saved a really good post for today!! LOVE The Play Date Cafe challenges! This week's colors are LUSH! LOVE it!!
This week we have Elusive Images as our fabulous sponsor! Elusive Images is a rubber stamp company with a wide range of designs and styles. Founded in the UK by Glenda Waterworth over 10 years ago, EI prides itself on both the design and manufacture of its rubber stamps, together with the Artylicious range of CDs. Glenda is also our Guest Designer this week! HOOORAY! Here is what Glenda has to say about her crafting:: "I think you would describe my explorations as messy – and I am certainly not on the neat list of crafters. But to me that is all part of the journey, by playing and experimenting we can truly discover and grow. So next time you want to put lime green paint with purple ink and orange embossing powder, listen to your ‘inner’ voice – you might be pleasantly surprised by the results!"
This week's color combo is by our wonderful leader, Julie. These colors are so pretty--green, white, and melon! I love that melon hue!! I used my Elusive Images stamp set {Christmas Song} for my card. I made a fun shape as my base and then stamped this beautiful image of the tree and bird. I popped the bird with a melon paper by Bazzil Basics--I actually stamped with a light pink ink--I think it turned out AWESOME!! I love the pears and their white spots! So cute! I also love this sentiment--anything about Christmas and singing....I LOVE IT! LOVE LOVE LOVE that melon floss that I used to tie around the card--found that by accident! LOVE when that happens:}
That's it for me today...but be sure to stop by all the other PDCC DT members' blogs. You are going to drool as you look at all these FABULOUS creations!
