Hello, friends:}

Today starts another amazing color story over at The Play Date Cafe. This week, Ruby has shared a vintage photo as our inspiration--light blue, pale yellow, and orange brown. That's what I saw!

I had several ideas for my creation this week...I had about seven cards sketched out....but I ended up making this fun birthday card for my dad. The colors just made me think of him! The inspiration photo also made me think instantly of my dad--he travels all over the world every week. I used some old DCWV papers and the Birthday Buddies stamps from Paper Smooches. Easy--love how this turned out! **NOTE:: In order to match my colors to the inspiration photo, I carried my iPhone with this pic around to all the craft stores and held it up to the papers! I love getting just the right color of cardstock and papers:)
