2 challenges

Hello, friends:}

I know--I'm a bit late in posting this card! School started earlier this month! LOL! I just haven't had the chance to post all my creations! I created this card for the CARDS and Unity monthly challenge {school theme}. My nephew, Jackson, started Kindergarten!! OH MY! They grow up so fast! I used some images from Unity's Smarty Pants, along with  the apple from Unity's Apple Cheddar Soup.  The papers are from Cosmo Cricket. Pretty simple and SUPER fun for Jackson:)
This next card was created using the Unity KOTM sketch challenge. I have not had any time to play lately--and it was fun! I flipped the challenge sketch (shown to the right). And I know what you are thinking--"Are those stamps from a kit?" Yes!! I bought this August 2008 Unity kit because of that trailer! I love love love it--and it even helped me get published in the premiere issue of the Cricut magazine.

    Both of these are completely ADORABLE!!! First card----LOVE the layers of patterned papers, the paper pieced apple, and the little "first day" tab! Second card---that trailer image is ROCK STAR AWESOME, and I LOVE how you positioned it on a big hill with the map in the background!!!

    Oooooooo! I am loving both of the cards! The apple, the papers, the twine--your first card is PERFECT for back to school! The scene in the second card is FABULOUS!! I wish I had the trailer stamp because it is too stinkin' cute!!

    Thanks for sharing two fabulous cards. I really love how you have personalised your fun back to school card and that yellow pencil paper. The quote on your second card is wonderful..I may just have to borrow it sometime. :)

    These are awesome, Sav! After much back-and-forth, I think I like the second one even more than the first -- it just has such a great, carefree feel to it. Both cards are great.
