If you have not been to The Ribbon Carousel Challenge--head over there NOW!! We are starting a brand new challenge today!
This month we are introducing a new addition to our regular crewmates: a Stowaway Crew Member (aka Guest Designer)! Each month, based simply on participation and love for all things Ribbon Carousel, it’s our way of highlighting YOU, our faithful friends!
This month, Kelli Hull joins us for some uber fun creating. In honor of Kelli and her fabulously crazy, party-girl personality, this week’s challenge (RCC14) is ANYTHING GOES!!
As an added bonus, EAD Designs is sponsoring us this week and has provided each designer with product! And one lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a prize pack!
E.A.D DESIGNS allows you to change the look of any room in just a few minutes. Our Products can be used on more than just walls and on many surfaces. Our customers are always coming up with new and fun ideas to use our products. Founded in 2004, Emily has grown her business to now include a Custom Art Design Center and Papercrafting RubOns, Stickerz and Printed Wall Art. And my favorite part….all of Emily’s products are like ours….MADE IN THE USA!
Your creation can be anything from cards, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings, anything will work! We can't wait to see what you come up with!
*** Please remember that your creation must have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace (basically anything that comes on a spool). ***
Because today was my day for Guest Designing and a sneak peek for the Gina K. Designs stamps by Tami Mayberry, I decided to use my little gnome and sentiment ("gnomie") from my new set {Gnome One Like You}. I also used the mushroom stickers from EAD Designs. I wanted to make them pop more, so I added some liquid enamel for the spots! Super cute! I used my favorite ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel- yellow twill ribbon! LOVE it!
- Make your creation following the ribbon carousel challenge (sketch, inspiration, style or color) image. Be sure to include some type of ribbon, twine, hemp, lace....basically, anything that comes on a spool.
- Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like SplitcoastStampers, (use the keyword RCC14) with a direct link back to The RCC blog post. Including the challenge graphic isn't a requirement, but sure is appreciated! A participant of our very first challenge didn't link back or mention our challenge and couldn't be named Top Spool, so don't let that happen to you!
- Come back to The RCC blog post and link in your creation using the Inlinkz button at the bottom of this post. Your image may take a little while to pop up but don't worry it will appear shortly.
- Be sure to come back the Friday after the challenge ends to see if YOU are a Top Spool! :D
This Challenge will end on August 7, 2011 at 11:59pm EST.
I really hope you will play along! Please stop by the RCC blog for more details, more projects from the RCC DT, and to link up your creation! Also, please head over to The Ribbon Carousel website and check out their products--I ordering more spools this week! LOVE all this ribbon:}
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}
