Volume on HIGH


Hello, friends:)
I'm back with another Sweet Stamp Shop card. I am super excited about these stamps! Super cute images--easy to use--and fun to paper piece! The perfect recipe for amazing creations:) This time I inked up my Old School Rock set!

I needed a card for someone in October--and they LOVE music (just like me)!! The Old School Rock stamp set was perfect! I tried to make the background look like the volume control--if you get too loud it turns red. LOVE how this turned out.
And because I wanted to do something extra clever--I tried to make an old cassette tape case from a transparency. I remember back in the day when they were black with a clear top or clear all around...or even colored...mine is just clear. It is a gift card holder posing as a cassette tape case:) I did stamp the cassette image and make it retro (Trav said it was!). LOVE how the sentiment is stamped on the top like the name of the cassette! I had a blast inking this set up!

    This is brilliant! I love the high-volume background of the card, and the cassette/gift card. The way you did "volume" big and bold and shadowed with white is perfect, too!
