Hello, friends:}
I have some extra cards to share today-- it's never easy for me to make sympathy or TOU cards. And unfortunately, I had to create two of these cards this week.
For my first card, I used a very simple card design from HERE-- Iike I said, it's def. NOT easy for me to create these cards...so I need inspiration! LOL! I used some of My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing: Tangerine papers [available HERE from the RC] along with the Good Gab stamp set by Paper Smooches. This is a simple card that shares my love and prayers perfectly! I'm sending this to my friend Corinna, who recently lost her Nana.
My second card is for my younger brother and his wife:{ They recently had a miscarriage, and my heart breaks for them. So I wanted to pair some beautiful papers {My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing: Lavender} with a simple sentiment of HOPE {Joyful Greetings by Paper Smooches} for this card. I was inspired by THIS card. I looooooooove how this turned out. I pray that C/J would find strength in the Lord and know that there is hope even in the hardest trials.
That's it for me today. THANKS so much for stopping by! Many blessings:}
wow these are both so pretty..love the DP you used and the designs are just fun...great cards..
ReplyDeleteAw. Beautiful cards. They are the hardest to make, for sure. I'll be sending prayers to your friend Corinna and your brother and his wife. I'm so sorry for their losses. Thank you for sharing the beautiful cards!

ReplyDeleteI know these cards are NEVER easy to make.... I love love love them both.. so elegant and such beautiful colors!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to make cards like this, but they are so lovely. Miscarriages are so hard....and you think you have gotten over them, but then remember things like I would have been full term today, or that baby would have been 1 year old now, praying for your family!
ReplyDeleteOh these are amazing love them both you are so talented!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty and soft!!! Love them!! Sorry I haven't been around lately, I've been down with a very bad flu... Lots of coughing and I was without a voice for four days. I'm now slowly slowly getting better, but it's still no fun actually! Hope to be better completely again soon and that I will then be around more on your pretty blog and watch your fabulous creations!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Wendy
