Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The fourth week of the month is always a Picture Perfect challenge.
I know I'm super LATE in posting these cards... but I have to say that trying to prepare and catch-up after three weekends of vacations/conferences is one of the MOST difficult things I've had to deal with this month! And I'm preparing now for a cruise first thing in November! **NOTE to SELF: do not book vacations and trips all in a row! LOL! Here's a pic of my nieces/nephews from my latest trip last weekend. LOVE these kids!
I loooooooove these cards-- I would love to send each and every one of you these cards! I'm so thankful for you- your love and support, and esp for your prayers! THANK YOU to all of you who have covered Trav and I in prayer. We are still having difficulties... and my heart still hurts. I am doing my best to cling to God during this time-- not easy since I feel like I'm lost and drowning in pain. THANK YOU for covering us!!! Your prayers mean so much to me!!
That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love.
Alli, Kadence, me, Jackson, and Kannon
And here's a pic of my mom/dad and brothers. The State Park that is in our town holds a Halloween weekend each year, and I was able to witness this crazy event! LOL! Each campsite is decorated to the max!!! And note-- it was SUPER cold! I had two jackets on, a scarf, a hat, and gloves! I am used to 80* weather.... the 30s is way tooooooooooo cold for me! LOL!
Mom, Leander, me, Carrel (pronounced Carl), Dad
I love the cards that I created for today. I reallllllly wanted to use some Goosebumps spray (it's a texture spray) with some leaf stamps/dies... but I went with a CAKS (cute/clean and kind of simple) design. I used some Studio Calico Atlantic papers with leaves from Amy Tangerine's Field House collection. I used the Paper Smooches Thanks Word die along with the Many Thanks stamp set for my card-- LOVE x10000000!
I know this isn't really like the photo-- I only used one leaf and the pic has several. I still love it:)
And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends November 3rd. I cannot wait to see what you make--I actually can't wait to see what you are inspired by in this photo!!
Oh Sav, I love this! I wish I could somehow siphon your style and fill my brain with it! Sweet pics of your family too - nieces and nephews are the best!! I am worried about you though - I'm not sure what's going on, but I do know, whatever it is, you will get through it. Happiness will come, even if some days it seems so far away. It does come, and it is so worth the wait!!!
ReplyDeleteDARLING photo of you with your nieces and nephews! You must be their most favourite Aunty; Savvy Aunty Savannah! Memories to be treasured! As for cold weather, I hear you! I wore 6 layers to the bike race on Sunday, and wished I had two more! WOW x WOW with all your travels - and a cruise yet to come! Sounds fabulous; hopefully an opportunity to relax, refresh, rejuvenate, and of course, share some uninterrupted time with Trav! I was so hoping your heart was healing, but you're still in turmoil. More prayers coming your way...I wish you guidance, peace, serenity...No need to post this on your blog - just know that I care!! I'll send you a note soon!! Hugs,
