A bit of Whisker Graphics {post1}

Hello, friends:}

***After 6am EST- please click HERE for my Reverse Confetti post and GIVEAWAY

Today I'm sharing my Whisker Graphics creation that is featured on the WG blog-- you can also read about this creation over on the WG blog HERE.

So today, I want to share a project that I've been thinking about for about a month. Around this time of the year, I like to start thinking about my new calendar and how I want to organize it....I also start thinking about my new Yearly Journals that I make (click HERE for this year's example-- which also used some WG bitty bags). And sometimes I like to make up a binder for new notes and journaling/etc. While I was thinking about this... I began to think about how I could use my WG bitty bags in a different way. ***I know-- I cannot stop using these bags! I LOOOOOOOVE them!  And I think I came up with the greatest idea for my new prayer journal.

I am keeping track of my blessings and prayers, as well as answered prayers, in a new little mini binder. I wanted to create a special place for verses and scriptures that I could reread throughout the year. And that's when it hit me!

I decided to use a WG white horizontal middy bitty bag for my pocket. I love the idea of using this bag because I could use the white/kraft lines on the outside of the bag for special scriptures too! And I used some NEW WG striped petite stickys to reinforce the holes.****NOTE: be sure to place these stickys on the front and backside of your bagThis will make certain you have a good reinforced hole. I love it! These are perfect for my new binder-- perfect size and perfect design!

Now there are two ways you can create reinforced holes with the petite stickys for your bag  The first way is to attach the petite stickys and holes off the side. This will allow you to use the entire width/size of the bag for your papers, pencils, etc.
The other way is to attach the petite stickys right on the bag where the holes are located. I just traced the holes from a regular paper and then covered it with my petite stickys. I really like this design- and I have a feeling I'll be making more of these for other binders and calendar pieces! LOVE
That's it for me today! And be sure to stop by the WG blog for more inspiration. Also-- did you know about Whisker Graphics's new products??? Check it out HERE! There is CORAL divine twine! OH MY! Must get a spool of that! LOVE!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

  6. A really fun idea for a prayer journal. I hope it works out for you. I use a small notebook. There are so many cute notebooks marked down after back-to-school sales that I usually find one I like.
