Paper Smooches SPARKS August Designer Drafts challenge

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week we are sharing a DESIGNER DRAFT challenge. 

This week we are inspired by the following sketch:

So... again I thought about following the sketch... but I couldn't do it! I just saw something different when I was working on this sketch! LOL!

I think my favorite part of this sketch are those banners- I made them into different pieces of my card. The banner to the right is just a bunch of words (not even a banner!). The next banner is a die cut word. And then the last two banners are two embellishments- a strip of paper (kind of like a banner) and a double half circle (which was made using the PS Ornaments die set- love this set!).

I also used the Paper Smooches Happy Birthday Words die set (I cut the words apart for a fun new look!) as well as the Bosom Buddy and Birthday Bash stamp sets for this card. Super simple and perfect for just about anyone celebrating a birthday;) My FAVORITE part of this card- the patterned papers (Basic Grey Hipster)... and the crooked pieces.... and the thread...and the colors... I just love it all:)
