RC: One Layer Masculine card

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing a super simple.... ONE LAYER... MASCULINE card! WOW! I've really stepped out of my comfort zone... or would you say that THIS is my NEW comfort zone! LOL!

I used one of my FAVORITE Reverse Confetti stamp images-- the owl from the Quirky Cuties: Oliver Owl set. LOVE LOVE LOVE him! I wanted to make a simple masculine birthday card (to continue working on my challenges!!!)!!! Ding! Points for finishing another masculine birthday card:) DING DING! I also used old My Mind's Eye papers for this card! LOOOOOOVE when I can combine both of my challenges:)
My favorite part of this is the watercoloring design. It's so random! I used my Tsukineko Memento Cantaloupe and Tangelo dye inks for the beak and feet, Desert Sand dye ink for the body and VersaMagic Oaisis Green pigment ink for the tie! OH MY! Isn't he so cute!?!?!

That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration and details!

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}

  3. I love the water colored look but don't think I could pull it off. I would keep going back to fix it up. Go you on the challenges and meeting them. I too need to use what I have and make more masculine cards. Why can't guys like ribbon and bling like girls do??? It would be so much easier!! LOL
