Hello, friends:}
We are starting another color story today over on the Play Date Cafe blog! This week's colors are soft-- Juniper, Mint, Vanilla. Our sponsor this week is Sweet Stamp Shop.
I unfortunately had to create a Sympathy/Thinking of You card--my friend's father just passed before Christmas. I never know what design to use for these cards--so I went with a simple soft design. I embossed the cardstock and distressed it with a blending tool. I also distressed the center piece. I used a "juniper" cardstock and vellum piece for different hues for my gnome's {Sweet Stamp Shop Gnomies set} outfit. The sentiment is from the newest SSS release- Sentimental Birds. I love how this card turned out--I just wish I didn't have to use it :(
That's it for me....but be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for complete details and prize information! The PDCC sponsor this week is Sweet Stamp Shop. Be sure to link up your creations by Tuesday, January 1oth at 11:59pm EST.
AND...the Sweet Stamp Shop is having a Design team call! You can check out all the details HERE! I hope you will apply!
