2026: Another Special Birthday Card [Card #214]

Hello again, sweet friends! 
I've got another special birthday card to share today--- this one is for Trav's StepMom, Bernice! 

I wanted to create a fun pup themed card because she loves Finn so much, and she has her own two pups too! I wish the pup image matched her puppies more... or Finn more... but I think she will still love the design and get that I tried:)

2026: Pink & Main Monthly Challenge [Card #210]

Hello, friends! 
I'm joining in the FUN with the Pink & Main Monthly challenge. We were challenged to create something SHINY 🤩 

Well... if you know me... then shiny = FOILING! So I pulled out some P&M foiling goodies and created this card.   
EVERYTHING on this card is foiled- the background panel, the flower panel, the flowers, and the sentiment. The only thing I didn't foil and colored was the light green background behind the flower images. 
 
If you look closely, I layered the flowers... #secret: I messed up and my custom cheerfoil cuts moved so I had to redo the flowers:) LOL I think it turned out great in the end! 
 
I looooooooooooove the colors and this design! And it's sooooooooooooo shiny in person- be sure to stop by my IG for a quick reel of how this shines in the light (I'll be posting it later today!)!!!!

2026: A Custom Card for Trav's Co-Worker [Card #213]

Hello, everyone! 
Trav came home the other day and said that one of his techs was leaving this week to move onto dental school. I knew immediately that she needed a custom card! 
You can't see it... but there is some SHINE on this card! I used all Paper Smooches stamps/dies with my Pink & Main Mini Minc machine, Cheerfoil, and Twinkle inks (which is where all the SHINE comes from!)!!! 

I love how this turned out. Trav was pretty impressed as well! And I think his tech liked it too! WIN WIN WIN!

2026: A CAS Holiday Card [Card #191]

Hello, sweet friends! 
I made this CAS holiday card in July... but didn't get a chance to post it! I'm only ONE day late... so I guess we will still count it:) 
 
I will be honest--- this card design was supposed to be EASY, CAS.... but adding those little branches on the back of the white tree was a bit of a pain! And then I stamped the sentiment in a lighter green ink... oy! What a mess. 

Overall, I like how it looks. It will work. I highly doubt the person receiving this will know the trouble that went into making this card or see the mismatched greens... they probably will throw it away after the holidays anyway🤦🏼‍♀️

2026: Does It Surprise You...

Hello, friends! 
Does it surprise you... that I had to make ANOTHER sypmathy card!? 😭
 
My friend lost her mom about a month ago. I knew her mom's FAVORITE color was purple, so I pulled out my purple papers, an old rose die, and my FAVORITE sympathy stamp set to create a simple card to express my condolences (see supply list below). 

I've said it before, and I'll say it again- sympathy cards are usually kept for years by loved ones. I use TapeRunner adhesive to help make my card designs last for a long time! I want this card to bring comfort and peace as they remember their loved ones.

2026: Sending "All The Things" [Card #168]

Hi, sweet friends! 
I've learned that in South Carolina people say "all the things"... I *think* this phrase means: “everything relevant” without listing each one individually.
 
Well this card is sending "all the things" to lift you up! 
 
I created this hummingbird when I was the Guest Designer for Creative Worship Stamps in June. I was unable to finish the card within the deadline due to my gut issues 🤕 If you know me, then you know I don't throw anything away-- not all was lost:)
 
I pulled this little hummingbird back out, found inspiration in a card design that I created for CWS as their Guest Designer... and added ALLLLLLLLLLLL the sentiments to encourage someone and lift them up! 
 
I love that I was inspired by my previous card HERE! I love this hummingbird- it wasn't my favorite at first because I didn't like the bold colors, but it has grown on me now that my card design is finished! I also love those sweet gems- they add just the right amount of WOW! 
 
I have about four MORE card designs using CWS products... I just neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed MORE time! LOL!

2026: Welcome Baby Rabbit [Card #202]

Hello again, sweet friends! 
Trav went to the dentist the other day (I go in a week). When he came home, he was telling me that his hygienist was pregnant and having a girl. This lead me down lots of different questions: 
  • Boy or girl: girl
  • Are they decorating the nursery? Light green so they can use it for all their children in the future; they will also be using the Velveteen Rabbit as a theme. 

Well... I couldn't help myself and told him I would make a card and bunny teether to give her when I visit! 

So I got to work pulling out all my rabbit stamps/dies and baby sentiments for a custom baby card. I mixed and matched between Pink & Main, the Colorado Craft Co., and The Stamp Market! I think it turned out super cute!
I also worked in the sewing room- GASP! I know! I had the perfect fabric for her teether- it's a cream and brown bunny design. It reminds me of the Velveteen Rabbit or Peter Rabbit, which I thought would work perfectly! Only problem... you can't see the design when it's put together 🤦🏼‍♀️ LOL!  ABC

2026: Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness Release

Hello my sweet friends! 
Today is an exciting day--- the Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness collection releases!!!! And what a collection this is!!!!!!!!!
 
I am in looooooooooooooove with my creations- I honestly can't figure out which one I love more!! I love that I created cards, was inspired by THE Susan Opel (I didn't do as good as her though! LOL!), and I made a bag charm using a SSS die and leather--- what a collection THIS is!!! 
 
Here's what I've made- NEW supplies are below: 
You can't see allllllllllllll the lines- but each piece of this desert view has acrylic marker lines for extra depth! GAH! Isn't this AWESOME!?!? 
Ok- these colors are PERFECT! I love it! ANNNNNNNNNNNNND this was used in the release graphic!!! So fun:) 
Another favorite- I LOOOOOOOOOVE this modern and fresh design! 
This card was inspired by THE Susan Opel--- she adds ribbon in the corners perfectly! I told Susan how she inspired me and that I need her to teach me everything she knows:) She did give me a tip! I will try this again:) 
Bag charms are so popular right now... so I decided to make a modern leather oak leaf and dark leather oak leaf charm to join in the fun! 
Trav didn't like the gems on this card so I made one with and one without:) 
I am NOT a fan of CAS cards... but I had to try making one! I just felt that this stamp set deserved to be simple and fussy cut:) 
 I went from CAS to very very busy but one layered! I might have went overboard with my added dots! 
I looooooooooooooove these Pink & Main papers with this sweet image! So cute! 
So... I think my paper cutter is cutting crooked! LOL! I didn't notice until I took a photo! LOL

2026: Playing with Scraps... and Twofer Cards

Hello, sweet friends! 
I was playing around the other day with inking backgrounds. I went with a different color palette- greens, yellows, orange, red, and dark blue. I was thinking "masculine" ?!?! It wasn't my favorite color combo... but I kept going! 
 
I also did different ink blends- linear and blotches. Again... I wasn't a fan but kept going! 
 
After I die cut the sentiment (crooked)... I DEFINITELY didn't like what I was making 🤣 but... I kept going!   
 
I ended up using a few Pink & Main birthday stamps/sentiments... and you know what???? I LOOOOOOOOVE these! 
 
Are they perfect? Nope! Can you see my mistakes? Nope! And does the color combo work now??? Possibly! LOL! 
 
And since I don't throw anything away, EVER--- I decided to make a few cards using the scraps from the sentiment die cut. These are very simple and the image is colored exactly like the other one. EASY! And a #twofer!!!   
I can't decide if I like the inked background or the background scraps MORE! LOL Both sets of cards make me happy and will help me fill up my masculine birthday card stash:)

2026: Easy Holiday Card + 2 TIPS using TapeRunner Adhesive [Card #192-197]

Hello, sweet friends! I've started on my holiday cards!!! 
I've shared a IG reel/tutorial HERE on how to make this EASY holiday card using TapeRunner adhesive. 
 
Here are step-by-step instructions [plus 2 TIPS] on how to make these cards, and possibly make multiples because they are sooooooooo easy!!!! 
  • Gather your supplies including TapeRunner adhesive
  • Create card front panel using embossing folder
  • Stamp image onto cardstock
    • TIP#1: Use a bone folder to burnish some of the embossed image where the stamped sentiment will be. This makes the cardstock smoother and  you don't lose the embossed image! 
  • Emboss sentiment
  • Ink edges of embossed image (I used two dark colors for extra dimension)
  • Adhere cardstock to cardbase using TapeRunner adhesiv
    •  TIP#2: Apply TapeRunner adhesiv to BOTH the cardbase and cardstock for a stronger bond! The embossed cardstock sometimes has a hard time adhering to flat paper- doubling the adhesive helps! 
  • Finish card using twine, gems, or other embellishments

EASY! 

And because this was soooooooooo EASY I created a few extra holiday cards in different colors! This is a great card to mass produce.
 
I wish you could see how pretty each edge is in the photo- the light makes it too bright to see :(
