I'm surprised that I'm creating CAS cards-- but this is as CAS as it gets! LOL! I love these colors-- coral and kraft/white! The patterned paper is by S.E.I. The ME Soiree stamp set has several sentiments along with some banners and other images. I wanted to focus on these sentiments-- you could make a card set for your friend/mom/sister using this design! EASY and a wonderful gift!!! **This is also another great card for the Ribbon Carousel {celebrations} challenge!

That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by all of the ME DTs' blogs and the ME blog for more inspiration and details. **New ME Stamps are available NOW!!!

Paper Smooches SPARKS May Cool Shades challenge {post1}

Hello, friends:}

**After 9amEST--please click HERE or scroll up/down for my Mama Elephant highlight post!

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The third week of the month is always a Cool Shades challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following color story "Nautical"

Red, Kraft, Navy, Teal

Ok... so I was trying to go REAL CAS with my card today... however, this sentiment took over 2 hours to make! I had to restamp it twice... and matching each letter from different sets was hard-- but TOTALLY worth it:)

I used some Bazzill Basics Paper with some Fancy Pants Designs Trendsetter scrap pieces-- LOVE! Plus, I used 7 Paper Smooches stamp sets for this sentiment including Hope, Market Fresh, Spiritual Sampler, Joyful Greetings, Daisies & Paisleys, Wicked Nauticool, and Hubby and Wifey. I also used the Anchor and Wedding Shower dies. LOOOOOOOVE how this card turned out:)

I used a navy ink with teal and red papers on a kraft background. Looks simple... but you know me!! I always have to make things difficult or more complicated than it needs to be:) LOL!

I've been wanting to use this sentiment on a card for awhile-- LOVE!

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love. ***This is actually the last PSS challenge for these gals. I'm so thankful that I was able to work with them-- it has been a blast! I love each of their styles and designs-- I've been blown away with each of their creations!! Please stop by their blog and let them know you love their work too!!

Just for Fun-- and a challenge {post1}

Hello, friends:}

**Please click HERE for my Mama Elephant post and highlight.

Last night I had some time to craft just for fun... so I pulled out my Reverse Confetti's I Like You stamps and decided to play along with the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

I don't do CAS very well... I'm still trying to step out of my comfort zone... and you would be surprised that this mini layout card (that's what I'm calling it since it looks like a scrapbook page) was created in less than 15 minutes- CAS!!! Well that makes this card CAS for me because most of my cards take 3-4 hours! LOL!

The longest part was waiting for the splatter to dry! I used up some old scraps of Amy Tangerine's Sketchbook for this card along with some neon papers and glitter. This was actually a fun card to make-- esp. since I know I can just slap some scrap paper on a card, add some accents, and then splatter it! ***This is my second time doing splatter... not sure how to get precise placement of this splatter... but I think it looks good:)

***And I think I followed this sketch pretty well-- I did make this design horizontal... and the heart became my photo with background... I still love it:)

This card was EXTREMELY hard to photograph! I took over 70 pics!

Love this RC stamp set-- you can mix and match these sentiments!

That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration! And be sure to follow us on Facebook HERE.

This is probably one of my FAV cards ever-- I LOVE the ME Sunny Skies sunshine rays stamp:) I knew I wanted to make it with multiple colors {inspired by THIS color combo}, so I stamped the ray images using a similar ink color as card stock. I added a bit of double-sided tape for the glittered rays and then masked the sentiment to make it vertical.

I just love that "sunshine" color-- I combined inks for this sentiment! LOVE!!!

That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by and leave some love on all the DT blogs for a chance to win one of 3 $20.00 Mama Elephant gift certificates {comment for your chance to win}!!! Next up--hop on over to Cheiron Brandon's blog!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Designer Drafts challenge

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The second week of the month is always a DESIGNER DRAFT challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following sketches:

OH MY! I love love love my card!! I actually hated it at first.... but then I looked at it again... LOVE!

I was inspired by:

• the Paper Smooches SPARKS sketch-- of course;)
• THIS color story by Shanna on the Studio Calico blog
• all of my crafty friends that mist and spray their papers **this was my FIRST time misting/dripping ANYTHING!!!

I used some basic cardstock and a neon yellow spray painted piece of paper with a strip of Basic Grey's Kneehighs patterned paper along with a brad by My Mind's Eye. I used several Paper Smooches stamp sets including Falling For You, My Guy, Slang Gang, as well as the PS Hot Spots Sm Set1 dies. LOOOOOOOOOOVE how this turned out!! **NOTE: I probably didn't follow the sketch as closely as I wanted to. I used the horizontal sketch but made it taller. The misting/dripping was added at the end because I forgot the "polka dots".... LOL!

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs, get inspired, and leave them some love.
