CardMaker Magazine + The Project Bin blog hop

Hello, friends!

**Click HERE for my Paper Smooches December blog hop and giveaway post! Deadline is Sunday, December 3rd.

I'm so excited to be participating today in a blog hop with the CardMaker Magazine blog team featuring The Project Bin. You should have arrived here today from the Tamie's blog.

I created a very simple card focusing on the reason for the season---> For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord {Luke 2:11}. I had a die cut image of a cityscape and paired it with The Project Bin embossed sentiment from the Luke 2 set with cream and gold cardstock. I finished this card using red ribbon. SIMPLE and perfect to bring our focus back on the Savior and the reason for his birth during this holiday season.

Your next stop is the fabulous Jen's!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy hopping! Be blessed:)

I knew I wanted to pull out some of my favorite holiday papers [Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa 6x6] for my blog hop creation using the NEW PS Let's Chill die. I found THIS scrapbook page and loved the bottom left corner cluster so much that I thought I would use my favorite papers and PS die to recreate it. I didn't realize that these papers matched the layout until AFTER I completed my design! 🤦🏼‍♀️ LOL! Other PS stamps/dies used for this project include: Happy Camper, Happy Camper Icons, Crystal Clear, and Crystal Clear 1 dies.

My favorite part of this card--- the details! I added Nuvo Crystal Drops to the jar for snow... I used an American Crafts Christmas Bingo card as the base... I love the silver sentiment at the bottom... and the glittered snowflakes all around! SOOOOO FUN!

Be sure to stop by the PS blog for details about this blog hop and giveaway! And don't forget to leave some love on the DT's blogs:)

That's it for me today- THANK YOU so much for stopping by! Be blessed!

Paper Smooches challenge- November 2017 #5

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing a project for the Paper Smooches "FALL" challenge for November, which ENDS on the 28th-- SOOOOOOOON!

Any thing that has to do with FALL can be entered in the challenge. Here are some ides:  colors, leaves, pumpkins, Thank You cards, Thanksgiving cards, words like "fall", "Autumn", "sweater"... and MORE!

Picture: Credit HERE

I wanted a couple of details for this card: a bit of stitching, a leaf die cut (fits the November challenge theme!), plaid, and an embossed sentiment. Little did I know that it would take me an ENTIRE week to get a good photo of this card 🤦🏼‍♀️. I love it--- it's kind of different than my normal layered style and design. And that leaf with the stitching is sooooooo cute! I used the following PS stamps/dies: Layered Hello, Large Leaves, and Sympathy Sampler.

That's it for me today! I hope you will join in the fun--- you could win a $50 gift certificate to the PS store! Be sure to stop by HERE to link up and play along:)

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Paper Smooches challenge- November 2017 #4

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing a project for the Paper Smooches "FALL" challenge for November. Any thing that has to do with FALL can be entered in the challenge. Here are some ides:  colors, leaves, pumpkins, Thank You cards, Thanksgiving cards, words like "fall", "Autumn", "sweater"... and MORE!

Picture: Credit HERE

I really love this card, but the photo is HORRIBLE A. I love the vintage papers by Authentique with the leather leaves. I think that combo makes everything pop! And I looooooooove that the sentiment is kind of hidden in the patterned paper. I used the following PS stamps/dies: Grateful, Large Leaves, and Fall Sampler.

See how this photo is really blue!?!? I blame the new version of my editing system- I don't know how to use it because it *just* updated! EH! Why does technology always have to "update" and do things like that when I have deadlines/etc!?

That's it for me today! I hope you will join in the fun--- you could win a $50 gift certificate to the PS store! Be sure to stop by HERE to link up and play along:)

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

CardMaker: Scrap Paper/Finished Card Storage Tip

Hello, friends! And welcome to my newest friends who might be stopping by from the CardMaker blog!!!

Today I'm sharing how I store my scrap papers (patterned papers and plain colored cardstock). This idea is simple and cheap---- which means I can buy more patterned paper pads with my saved money 🤑
Here's a sneak peek of what I use, part of my paper pad collection (you might not think this has to do with my storage tip, but it does! LOL!!), and a finished card using scrap papers and pieces!

I would love for you to stop by the CardMaker blog for all the details and more photos--- click HERE!

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:)

Sonshine Stamp Co: Scripture Binder

Hello, friends:)

Today is my day to post and share on the Sonshine Stamp Co. blog HERE.

I hope you join me by clicking HERE to read all about how I've used a Heidi Swapp planner [which I got for $2 about four months ago!!!] for my scripture journal/binder! I am putting the Word into my heart and using these scriptures as my #fightingwords [as Ellie Holcomb says/sings]. I am in looooooooove with the NEW Sonshine stamp set Offset Alpha and have used it for some special scriptures. Here's a sneak peek...

This design was inspired by the shop All Good Things Co. print HERE.

The little cards on the left of this page are verse cards from The Daily Grace Co.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be sharing more soon:) Be blessed!

Paper Smooches challenge- November 2017 #3

Hello, friends:}

I created this card using some papers I purchased at JoAnns. I didn't have a design... just fussy cut the animal friends and then added the leaves/clothes pin and then the cork banner. I knew it needed a sentiment so I die cut "Thank You" and thought I was done... but then I found the rest of the sentiment and knew it would be the perfect touch! The dilemma was trying to figure out which colored cardstock to use as the background for it! LOL! I used the following PS stamps/dies: We Adore You, Thank You die,  Flag Tags dies, LG Leaves, and Leaves 1 dies.

That's it for me today! I hope you will join in the fun--- you could win a $50 gift certificate to the PS store! Be sure to stop by HERE to link up and play along:)
