Hello, friends! And friends with FLAIR!!
First off, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you who left comments on my blog last month! I had a total of....708 comments [I read each one! They were all WONDERFUL!]! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Because of your wonderful love and support...I will be giving away the Ippity Where You Should Be set, as well as two random Unity singles!! I just can't stop with one giveaway! I will announce them on Sunday--I apologize for not doing it sooner--ran out of time! As for April....this giveaway will be random! You never know when it will happen...and...I have a feeling there might be more than one giveaway this month! Let's see if we can break 800 comments!! Thanks again!
Ok...well, this week my grandma was visiting, and I didn't really have time to make several cards! Bummer :{ You can scroll down to this week's post, though, and you will see at least three more cards that use Unity stamps! I love Unity!
My first card isn't really a card. It is a scrapbook page! I made ANOTHER page--I know! How fun! I made this using the Simple Scrapbooking Challenge #2. I love how this page turned out (for my second page...not bad???). I wanted to scrap about our child that we sponsor through Compassion International. His name is John Wesley Paul. He is super sweet and growing so big!! He sends us letters almost every month. And he draws on the back of the letters! I used my new Unity set- Amazing Me for the finger and journaling spot. I love that pointed finger--I even tied a thread to it!! I did however change the journal tag. I masked the actual journaling (which said "Date, Place, Time") and then masked the "moment" stamp in the Feb. KOTM for the lines. I think it turned out cute! **NOTE:: Amazing me is available at LIMELIGHT!
My second project is a card! I made this for Trav--I haven't really spent time with his this week. So I thought I would make him a card. I wanted a simple card--this was really CAS! I was inspired by this pic over at Michelle's blog. She is super talented! I used Unity's Bingo stamp and new sentiment in March's KOTM. **NOTE:: Yep--I finally got my KOTM for March--on March 26!!
My last card was created for a special mom. This DP is from a butterfly packet! It actually is text about butterflies! I love the colors. The butterfly stamp is from Unity's Bevy of Butterflies. I don't know if noticed--but there is a pocket watch/clock for the body of the butterfly. I love how it looks. I wanted something vintage but modern. How did I do?
Here are some pics of this week's cards--just click on them to go to the post.
