I was lucky enough to receive some fun birthday stamps from YNS to use on my card. I used some of my Lily Bee Designs papers, along with some of my FAVORITE chevron twill ribbon {available HERE from the RC} for my creation. I LOVE the simplicity of it! PDCC #127 {post2}

We are starting another color story today over on the  Play Date Cafe blog! This week's colors are: daffodil, hydrangea, kiwi, cherry. Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp.  

These colors made me think of school or primary grades...but I went with a love/congratulations theme instead! Our friends are getting married this weekend, and I wanted to make a super fun card for them and their new lives together. These papers from Lily Bee Designs {available HERE at the Ribbon Carousel} were a perfect match for this color story. I used three Paper Smooches {FOLKal Points, Wake Up, Chubby Chums}. LOVE how this turned out:)

I love that the toast have lips and a mustache! ACK! TOOOO cute;)

Paper Made Bakery Feb. Kit creations

Hello, friends:}

I've got a new way of sharing all my Paper Made Bakery creations--since we are sharing everything on the PMB blog and sneak peeks on our personal blogs, I thought I would create a post with all my creations that I made using the current month's kit supplies. 

The PMB February kit was filled with super cute papers from Lily Bee Designs. And the stamps--some of my fav from Avocado Arts! The embellishments were the cutest--esp. that pom pom ribbon! LOVE LOVE LOVE this kit! 


For my first creation, I shared this cheery and fun card. I shared this for our very first release hop! Read more about it HERE.

For my first PMB post, I made this simple card and shared a tutorial on how to color your white pearls. Click HERE to read more about this tutorial.

Then I cased myself! I've never done that before--and I LOVE the idea! I also love this card--that maroon/pink umbrella is TOOOO cute! Read more about this card HERE. 

I created another simple card for the Feb. 17th post. You can read more about this creation HERE.

And my last project was a bit more detailed. I LOVED making this card! All the layering of the papers and ribbons....and then stitching. OH! I had forgotten how much I LOVE my original style!!! Click HERE to read more about this card.

I even decorated the envelope! Inside and out! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Another Avocado Arts creation (post2)

Today the Avocado Arts Pit Crew have created some amazing projects to share with you! We all used the AA February stamp set. Be sure to stop by the AA blog for more information and LOTS more inspiration!

I created several projects and cards using this stamp set--it's perfect for so many occasions and creations! LOVE it! For my project today, I focused in on the heart and watering can images. I wanted to create a special gift for my friends who are to wed in April. My friend's bridal shower is coming up, and I wanted to make a small journal for love and advice for the happy couple. I used some Lily Bee Designs papers (available in the Paper Made Bakery kit) to decorate this journal. I used the Avocado Arts digital cut files to die cut the watering can image (LOOOOOOOVE how this saves me time!!). I did end up fussy cutting out the hearts...but it was worth it! I also added this sentiment (which was inspired by my friend Ashley). I love how this turned out! I know I cherished the advice given to me before my wedding....and I pray that my friends' enjoy this little gift and our advice as well!! 

As for my advice... I think I might be writing on several sheets in this journal! LOL! Just kidding! I do have three or four things to add to it, but the most important is: Pray together DAILY! Ecc. 4:12b

Paper Made Bakery Feb. kit and tutorial

I've got another Paper Made Bakery  project to share today--I've got at least three more creations to share this month!!! Can't wait to show you what I've been creating/designing! I used my PMB February kit {available HERE} for this simple card. I also created a photo tutorial sharing how to color the pearls that are included in this kit. 

I just love this kit--the patterned paper pad is one of my FAVS!!! And I love that there are SEVERAL sheets of colored cardstock for card bases! SUPER FUN! 

I wanted to create a simple card using that floral paper from the Lily Bee Designs paper pad (included in the kit--LOVE!). I used my Avocado Arts digital cut files to die cut the watering can. I also colored a white cardstock for the heart on the watering can--so fun! **I'm new to coloring! I added some of that beautiful maroon twine and some pearls. Simple!

The pearls in this February kit are white--but you can color them to match your papers or project color story. All you have to do is follow these simple steps!
