ETA::: This just in---I have 113 followers:) That means another giveaway! Be sure to come back Saturday for the winner! HOOORAY:} Thanks to all my followers and my internet friends for your love and support!!

Hello, friends:} And friends with flair!!

Super excited to share these cards with you--I know I've said it before...but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Unity! Love it! Ok...I had to get that out:}

These two cards were created for my wonderful friends from my PDCC team! I love this team! I am truly blessed to be on such a creative, wonderful, friendly, and supportive team! I heard that two of the member's husbands were sick, so I had to make them some cards. I know--I haven't even sent my friends cards...but I sent their husbands' get well cards! HA! **NOTE:: Both are better now. Anyway....I also made these cards for the FWF25 and All Things Unity challenges. Ok...I know--you are thinking, "That card doesn't even look like the inspiration card by Tenia!" Well...her card last week (pictured to the left) was entered in the PDCC challenge the week before. I couldn't upload that card that I created...and since I am on the DT...I made the connection of making a card for my friends' husbands. So I was inspired by Tenia's card--just a bit differently! I know--I'm silly! I really love these cards! I love the colors and the stamps [which by the way were Unity's Heart Time stamp set]....just love love love them!
Here is a close-up of the tissues--I used tissue paper for the kleenex. I love it!

My next card is another fav of mine!! I absolutely love this new set- Garden Variety- from Unity and Cosmo Cricket. I made this card for the EtsyInspired and Everything But The Kitchen Sink challenges. I loooooooooove this card! I also used stamps from Basic Grey and Unity's Soiree and Such (for the fork/knife/spoon). I just love this card- we are inviting our friends over for dinner, and I think this is the perfect invite card:}

These next two projects are more powerful prayer journals. I love making these! I actually sell them at Jelly Bean Designs. I made the owl one for a prototype [which you would think I would have...but never did!] and the other one was for a friend who is having her first child (a boy!!). I used Unity's April {Super Sweet} and May {Naturally You} store kits for my stamped images. I also flocked the little hearts on the turtle. Isn't that cute?? LOVE it!

Not sure if you can see it--but I distressed the edges of these journals. Added a bit of texture-I think:}

Well...that is all for me today! Be sure to stop by Unity's site for a complete list of friends with flair! And be sure to leave some love! You could win 25 free Unity stamps! And if you leave some love here...you could win the Ippity Books A Flutter stamp set!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Love when we visit--and I love love love Fridays-FWF-and Unity! Be blessed:}

PDCC30

Hello, friends:}
I have another awesome Play Date Cafe color story to share with you today! I LOOOOVE these colors together:} First off...let me tell you about our Celebrity Guest Designer--it's Maile Belles! OMGoodness! YES! She is super fab! I see her creations in magazines and all over the internet! Super creative! And I love that when I went to upload my card for this challenge to the gallery--I noticed that ours had a lot of white space! GREAT minds think alike! ACK! I think like Maile! HOOOORAY:}
The colors this week are light green, light yellow, and light pink. I struggled with this color combo--until I thought about it! Then it just clicked! I knew I wanted to do a card with lots of white space. I made some squares and added a bit of embellishments to them [Unity May KOTM butterfly stamp; string available at Limelight; flower paper is Heather Bailey]. Then I just had the Cricut cut out "thank u" and I was done! I did add some light pink gems to the card--but they look dark pink on the top. I think it is because it is pink on pink! I still LOOOOOOOOOVE this card!

Be sure to stop by all the other amazing PDCC DT members' blogs--lots of beautiful creations to share with you today! Please leave some love for them too!!

Card Patterns challenge using Nina Brackett Squigglefly images

Hello, friends:}

I'm super excited about this card that I made today! I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE Nina Brackett--her style, her images, everything about her! I used her new Squigglefly images on this card today. It is for the Card Patterns #64 challenge. Super fun! I stitched each button with burlap [available at Limelight for cheap cheap cheap!]. I also paper pieced the pin cushion. I love how this card turned out! LOVE it:}
**NOTE:: Not sure if you can see it--but the top of the ruler has a gold line like the real metal/wood rulers! LOVE it:)

That's it for today--I'm going to be playing with Nina's images later tonight...I have another card/design that I would like to use them on! Love these images! I will be back tomorrow to share a fun Play Date Cafe challenge card!

my FAV scrapbook page...

Hello, friends:}

I have a scrapbook page to share with you today--I know you might have seen this design on my blog before as a card [HERE]...but this card actually was a scrapbook page first. The story::: As soon as Trav and I got married, I knew I wanted to make this page. I just didn't have time. Fast forward three years and I made this card for the CARDS challenge (make a tree). Fast forward a couple of months, I finally get to make this page because the Stampin' Royalty challenge is "family theme". I was super excited that this page is completed. I love it. I know it looks plain...but that is what I like- you focus on the family! I did stamp "love grows" which is from Unity's Love Grows stamp set. Simple and fun! I love it:}

H{ippity} Hop

Hello, friends:} Happy H{ippity} Hop day!!

I just have to say again---that I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE my new banner and signature! I just love it:) If you have not been by Heather Rolin's blog or new business--Individual Blog Banners....YOU NEED TO GO, NOW! **Well, after you read my post:} Thank youHeather! I love love love it!!

Now on to my creations for the Ippity Hop! Love my new Ippity--but I've been inking up my old sets. Isn't that funny? I buy all the new sets and ink the old! HA! This card was created for my brother, Carrel. He owns his own business, Hoover Construction, and he wanted a card for a client. I love how the houses from Ippity's What Matters Most were stamped in the background--like they are part of a construction plan. Then the one house popped out with the metal tag. I LOVE it! The sentiment is from Unity's Super Sweet and Stuck on you set. I love my Unity/Ippity
This next card is for a cousin of mine who will graduate at the end of this month. I saw these brads in the store and just new I had to make a rainbow with them. I used my Ippity Sweet Thoughts of Spring set for the clouds. The sentiment is controversial--I know I've seen a stamp somewhere in my room with this saying. Can't find it--so I had to print it off....and now I'm wondering if "sky's" is correct. I did a FB question...and my friends seem to say it  is...ever do that? Where you write something and it looks wrong? I do it all [ALL] the time! Either way--this was SIMPLE!

I really do not like taking pics of white cards on white backdrops--I need to figure out how to make it look pretty--this one looks horrible! But my next one looks good...EH! Any help is appreciated:}

This next card was featured yesterday....but I had to feature it again. It is so SIMPLE! And pretty. Scroll down to read more about it! I used my new Ippity stamps!
And I made this flip book for today--but couldn't wait and shared it on Friday last week....scoll down to see more!
 That is it for me--but there are lots more cards and projects to check out on this hop today. Be sure to stop by the Ippity blog for the complete list. LOTS of eye candy for you today!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Love using my Ippity stamps--and sharing with you:} Thanks for all your love and support! Be blessed:}

ColourQ, EBTKS, Limelight, Wee Memories, and City Crafter challenges!

Hello, friends:}

I am super excited about my new banner and signature--ack! LOOOOOOOOOOVE it! Thanks to Heather Rolin over at Individual Blog Banners! Check her out--super fun and super creative! Love love love it:)

My first card that I would like to share with you today is for the Colour Q32 and Everything But the Kitchen Sink challenges. I absolutely love this color story and that inspiration pillow. I thought that pillow looked like the stack of books for the EBTKS challenge. So I put them together and made this card! One of my FAVs!!! I used Unity's May Store Kit and March KOTM stamps. I also used the polka dot wood stamp from Unity. LOOOOOVE it! I love how I ruffled the paper and the stitching...and those colors--mmmm!

My second card is for the Limelight, Wee Memories, and City Crafter challenges! I love this card too--it was supposed to be CAS...but I started paper piecing and glittering....I still love it! I used Ippity's Faith Blooms set. I made an inside as well--simple. I love how the flowers were my scallops! Super cute:}

That is all for me today--I am hoping to get more done since Trav is at work...but I do have to get dinner ready and do some cleaning (like mopping/sweeping/etc.). But be sure to come back tomorrow- I have a fun card to share with you for the H{ippity} Hop!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Love when we visit:} Be blessed!

FWF and EIC challenge card

Hello, friends...and Unity PEEPS:}

Today is FWF over on the Unity blog--you need to check it out!! Love Unity! And Ippity!

My first card today was created for the FWF24 challenge. Our inspiration piece was created by Elizabeth. Super cute--I really liked her color scheme and the stamps [which were from Unity's April KOTM]. I know the water is supposed to be coming out of the bucket...but I messed up when stamping! I love the handle to this watering can--it is burlap string [that I got from Limelight!!!]. I also was wondering which sentiment I should stamp in the top left corner::: I'm here for you or something else? Once I find out what to put there--I will repost this pic!
This next card was created for a challenge last week, but I was a tad bit late. Still had fun making this card! I used Unity's Sept. 09 KOMT school stamp and paper pieced the image together. LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the colors for this card! I also like how it is circular--I'm really into shaped cards!

These next few mini cards were created for the EtsyInspired challenge. The featured Etsy store is Lindsay Brackeen. Super fun creations over there--I was inspired by all the lettered artwork. I made five different letter mini cards. I am planning on sending the entire alphabet (when completed) to my mom so all my nieces and nephews can look at it! Here is a list of stamps that I used::: Unity-March KOTM, Rain & Flowers, Could I Be Any Cuter?; Ippity- Alphabetically Adorable, Fishy Philosophy, What Matters Most, Simply Home; Lizzie Anne Designs- May KOTM. WOW! I have never mixed so many stamps together!! I love the fish and the kite card--too cute:}

This next mini card was created for Jessica Witty's challenge over on the Paper Crafts Connection blog. I love her idea of using a phone book--why didn't I think of that? EH! I used Unity's Going Retro set. Super fun and cute! Simple too! **NOTE:: This is for my friend who keeps dropping her phone in water! This card has just my number on the inside--that way she won't lose it again!
In case you missed any of the Unity cards that I created this week--just scroll down.

Today we start another awesome color story with the Play Date Cafe! WOW! I am super excited about this color combo--and our Celebrity Guest Designer this week is Heidi Van Laar! Oh my goodness--we have CRAFTINESS in the house! Heidi is fabulous!

This week, Sarah created our color story of light green, dark green, and blue. I instantly thought of...BOY! I know--I've got babies on the brain! I used my Nina Brackett Vintage Background dots on the left side of the card. I also used my Unity Oct. 09 KOTM for the airplane and banner. The sentiment came from Lizzie Anne Designs May KOTM. **NOTE:: This month is a first for 1) CASED cards [I made 2!!!] and 2) mixing stamp sets and companies! LOOOOVE how this card turned out! I love that little burlap string that holds the banner on {available at Limelight}. Great color combo this week!

Ippity NEW Release Day!

Hello, friends:}

**If you are looking for my Play Date Cafe challenge card, scroll up!!

Well today is a big day! Ippity has their big release and WOW are these stamps amazing! I wanted to create so many cards with these stamps--but I need to keep this post short so you can check out all the other DTs cards and the Hip Hop list too!

I only made two cards for today-both the same except for the sentiment. I used the new Fall For You set for the entire first card. This card is for my sister-in-law (who is gets a card each month before her wedding). I think this Ippity set was perfect for this month's card! LOVE it!
I tried to make the red robin and the mate (I think it is supposed to be brown??)...?
This next card was created using the same set, except for the sentiment. I used Ippity's A Moment In Time set. When I was finished with the first card, I saw this sentiment and knew I had to make another one! LOOOOOVE this card.
Be sure to stop by Ippity's blog for a complete list of blogs for the Hip Hop! LOOOOVE Ippity! Looooove UNITY! This hop is going to have great EYE CANDY for you:}
