FWF--sweet cupcake!

I have a quick post for you....yes, I'm still "out" and busy--but within a couple of days it should slow down! How I've missed visiting with you!!!! 

Today, I wanted to share some of the cupcakes that I made for my friends. This cupcake in particular is going to a good friend visiting from NY, Jeremy! She is the coolest--always hip and always super fun to hang out with! I am entering this cupcake into the Unity monthly challenge! It's all about summer! I'm also entering this cupcake decoration in the Tuesday Trigger--when I saw the inspiration picture, I knew I had rainbow paper. Plus, the bathing suit matches the second and third spools--super cute color combo!

Deets on the cupcakes::: cookies and cream cupcakes--there is an oreo in the bottom of the cupcake, with a cookies and cream center (oh my!!!), topped with a cream cheese frosting and an oreo halve and crumbs. All homemade! MMMMMM! **NOTE:: I am not that great of a baker and never could be on Cupcake Wars...but it doesn't matter as long as it taste good:)

Hello, friends:}

Hoooooray for another fun day over at the Play Date Cafe! We are starting another color story today--hollyhock, sky blue, and orange! Perfect for SUMMER! And NOTE those heels--LOVE LOVE LOVE with hot pink tights! Want me a pair of those:)

I created a very simple card (since I'm short on time lately!! SUPER busy!). I know my teammate, Jax, does not like doilies...but I had to use one on this card! FUN--don't you agree, Jax? Simple--stamp, cut, add gems, place onto doily! And I love love love that I didn't use just plain cardstock (other than kraft)! I never find the right patterned papers--but this time I did:) LOVE Echo Park!

I was thinking that I wouldn't have time for this post....but the deadline for the Paper Smooches Guest Designer is tonight!!


I used my Boob Tube and Birthday Buddies stamp set for these signs. I love that little fish on the "fishing pole". I love the sign too--I masked the sentiment to make it say just FISH! LOVE LOVE LOVE--and perfect for Father's Day!!

**NOTE:: I didn't have time to make cupcakes--so these are from Publix! Still very very GOOD!

ATU #33 Get Manly

The All Things Unity challenge is starting a new 2 week challenge today! This challenge is all about the MEN--use your Unity and Ippity stamps to create something manly!

For my creation, I made some cupcake decorations. I was going to make three--but I couldn't find another patterned paper that I like to match! LOL! I used my NEW Ippity set The Man {get your Ippity HERE from JenMarie}. It was perfect for this challenge!

Hoooooray for another fun day over at the Play Date Cafe! We are starting another color story today--dusty pink, blueberry, and cream! I instantly thought of vintage--since the inspiration photo looks vintage!

I created something really simple--something to remember what my family has been doing this month. We had a family photo taken a couple weeks back, and it looked like it had a hint of blueberry and pink in it--so I paired that with some notebook paper and stamps. Love how this turned out--I do wish the blue was more blueberry--but I love it:}

I was inspired this week by so many creations--love the bear and the butterfly...but I found this love themed card. I love that the inside has hands that go way out to show how much you love someone! CUTE! I have to admit that I cannot make pop-up cards...so I went a different route. I made a love themed card. The sentiment is from Unity's The Best Is Yet To Be KOTM set. I also used the stamp and key images from Unity's Be Mine With Love set. And the heart came from Unity's Confession set. LOVE that paper [MME]....just love how this turned out!
