Sweet Stamp Shop creations

Hello, friends:}

I'm back with another Sweet Stamp Shop creation. It's my day over on the SSS blog--so be sure to stop by there and leave some love!

I had a friend over the other day and we got crafty using several stamp sets from the Sweet Stamp Shop. Laurie used both the Spring Fling and Sweet Victoria stamp set for her Thank You cards. This was her FIRST time creating cards! She made 10!!!!!!!! She stamped and colored the tulips and then stamped the sentiment. LOVE it! **Her design was inspired by Loll Thompson on SCS.
We had a great time crafting together. While Laurie was inking up those two SSS sets, I was inking up the SSS Perfect Match set. I created a miniature sized card for one of my best friends, Ashley!! **If you haven't seen THIS post on her blog, check it out:) Ashley and I decided a couple of days ago to make cards for one another. Ash requested the peanut butter and jelly images--and I think they turned out SUPER cute! I added glitter to both for extra bling! The peanut butter with the glitter looks like it's the crunchy type (that's what Laurie said! LOL!). I stamped the sentiment several times to make the extra long banner. Super simple. So cute! Hope Ashley likes it!

Also, the SSS has partnered up with Timeless Twine to offer a Sweet Sampler designed just for the shop. SO FUN! Be sure to stop by Timeless Twine to check it out!

One more thing!!!!!!! SSS has started a monthly challenge! Be sure to check out the first challenge HERE! I hope you will play along:)

That's it for me today-- if you have some extra time, we would love for you to stop by our YouTube channel, our FB page, follow us on Twitter  and link up any creations you have made using SSS images on Flickr.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:)

Youer Than You layout

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook page that I created using some Momenta products. This project was featured over on the Momenta blog on 3.19.12. Click HERE to see it on their blog:) I really enjoy using my Momenta papers--they are perfect for just about any creation/project!

**Thanks for looking today--especially if you've already seen this on the Momenta blog:) HUGS!
I have to be honest with you--I find scrapbook pages SUPER hard to make. However, this page and layout came together quickly!!! I love when that happens. I used my new Momenta pyramid pad {Chloe's Garden} for everything on this page!!!

The sentiment for this page is very popular right now--and I've really struggled with "being me". Growing up, I didn't like my hair or my body....I always wanted to be someone else or look like a model....actually, these thoughts have been very real lately. However, this past week, my husband {Trav} has really helped me understand that I'm beautiful and loved and special. I think this quote by Dr. Seuss matches this "new thinking" of mine perfectly! THANKS for the encouragement, Trav!!

Today we start another photo inspired challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog.
I just love this line up of bunnies! I loved this inspiration photo so much...that I created 2 cards! I have two others that I wanted to create...but I didn't want to overload you:) LOL!

For my first card, I created a bunny costume for the little chicken chubby chum to wear! SOOOOOOOOOO cute! The two Paper Smooches stamp sets for this little guy are Chubby Chums and A Little Lovin'. I also used the sentiment from Spring Fling and A Little Lovin'--I masked them together per Ashley's suggestion! The paper is from Echo Park. Simple card...SOOOOO fun and cute:)
It doesn't look like it--but I die cut a hole in the bunny image and placed the chicken image behind it.
For my second card, I was inspired by the line up of the bunnies. I was also inspired by a photo on Pinterest of a carton of eggs. I combined the two images and made this little mini card. I LOVE LOVE LOVE those mustaches {images for the end two are from the Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes and Hot Concoctions. I drew the other two.}. The sentiment  and egg are from Spring Fling. And yes, I did color those eggs with Copics! They are perfect for matching colors:) The papers are again from Echo Park. LOVE this card!
Copic colors: Y13, YG11, R30, BG10/BG11
Here is a photo of both cards--they are both miniature in size!
That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love.

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends April 4th. I cannot wait to see what you make--I just LOOOOOVE my Paper Smooches stamps!!!

We are starting another color story today over on the  Play Date Cafe blog! This week's colors raspberry, harbor, and honey mustard. Our sponsor this week is Mr. Cricut Crazy Shop,  who is also our very special Guest Designer!! Be sure to stop by the PDCC blog to check out his amazing creation!
I'm so sad....I spent all day yesterday working on matching colors and making sure my design was appropriate for this challenge. I cannot CANNOT believe I have some green on my card--I was just crafting away and literally gasped when I was uploading this pic to the gallery. OY! And then my honey mustard looks more orange in the pic...but it's the rust cardstock by The Paper Co. It matches PERFECTLY! So is the raspberry stripes--it's darker in person. OY OY!  :(

Anyway, here's my PDCC card. I'm sad about it but still love love love it. I've used my Paper Smooches stamps and Echo Park papers.
That's it for me....but be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for complete details and prize information! The PDCC sponsor this week is Mr. Cricut Crazy Shop. Be sure to link up your creations by Tuesday, March 27th at 11:59pm EST.
