Sweet Stamp Shop creations

Hello, friends:}

I'm back with another Sweet Stamp Shop creation. It's my day over on the SSS blog--so be sure to stop by there and leave some love

I had a friend over the other day and we got crafty using several stamp sets from the Sweet Stamp Shop. Laurie used both the Spring Fling and Sweet Victoria stamp set for her Thank You cards. This was her FIRST time creating cards! She made 10!!!!!!!! She stamped and colored the tulips and then stamped the sentiment. LOVE it! **Her design was inspired by Loll Thompson on SCS.
We had a great time crafting together. While Laurie was inking up those two SSS sets, I was inking up the SSS Perfect Match set. I created a miniature sized card for one of my best friends, Ashley!! **If you haven't seen THIS post on her blog, check it out:) Ashley and I decided a couple of days ago to make cards for one another. Ash requested the peanut butter and jelly images--and I think they turned out SUPER cute! I added glitter to both for extra bling! The peanut butter with the glitter looks like it's the crunchy type (that's what Laurie said! LOL!). I stamped the sentiment several times to make the extra long banner. Super simple. So cute! Hope Ashley likes it!

Also, the SSS has partnered up with Timeless Twine to offer a Sweet Sampler designed just for the shop. SO FUN! Be sure to stop by Timeless Twine to check it out!

One more thing!!!!!!! SSS has started a monthly challenge! Be sure to check out the first challenge HERE! I hope you will play along:)

That's it for me today-- if you have some extra time, we would love for you to stop by our YouTube channel, our FB page, follow us on Twitter  and link up any creations you have made using SSS images on Flickr

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:)

Today we start another photo inspired challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog.
I just love this line up of bunnies! I loved this inspiration photo so much...that I created 2 cards! I have two others that I wanted to create...but I didn't want to overload you:) LOL!

For my first card, I created a bunny costume for the little chicken chubby chum to wear! SOOOOOOOOOO cute! The two Paper Smooches stamp sets for this little guy are Chubby Chums and A Little Lovin'. I also used the sentiment from Spring Fling and A Little Lovin'--I masked them together per Ashley's suggestion! The paper is from Echo Park. Simple card...SOOOOO fun and cute:)
It doesn't look like it--but I die cut a hole in the bunny image and placed the chicken image behind it.
For my second card, I was inspired by the line up of the bunnies. I was also inspired by a photo on Pinterest of a carton of eggs. I combined the two images and made this little mini card. I LOVE LOVE LOVE those mustaches {images for the end two are from the Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes and Hot Concoctions. I drew the other two.}. The sentiment  and egg are from Spring Fling. And yes, I did color those eggs with Copics! They are perfect for matching colors:) The papers are again from Echo ParkLOVE this card!
Copic colors: Y13, YG11, R30, BG10/BG11
Here is a photo of both cards--they are both miniature in size!
That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love

We are starting another color story today over on the  Play Date Cafe blog! Our colors this week are SUPER gorgeous--pink, yellow, and gray. Our sponsor this week is Practicing Creativity
The PDCC DT was lucky enough to receive some Practicing Creativity images a couple of weeks ago to use for our project. I received Barefoot Summer. I love this sentiment--it's so beautiful! Bloom! Makes me think of doing my best wherever I am located (planted). I paired some papers from Echo Park and some polymer clay flowers from Ashley's ETSY store. This was the perfect match for this color story! LOVE:)
That's it for me....but be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for complete details and prize information! The PDCC sponsor this week is Practicing Creativity. And don't forget to stop by all the other PDCC DT members' blogs-- AMAZING ZING ZING!!!

EIC #109 {Lemon Kissed}

Hello, friends:}

Welcome back!! It's challenge day over at EtsyInspired! This week we are visiting Lemon Kissed. What a fun jewelry store! LOVE all the colors and stunning details. One of our lucky players will be getting these lovely earrings [winner's choice of color].

Our sponsor this week is another store from Etsy: Pholkart Blessings. These digital images are so cute!! I was lucky enough to use them on my cards today:} And another player this week will win their choice of five free digital images. HOOORAY:}

My first card was inspired by these orange earrings. I knew I had to use this beautiful orange color for a mailbox--perfect for this Pholkart Blessings digital stamp. I paper pieced each image and used my gelly pens to accent each image (inspired by our leader, Ashley! Never really used them this much--love it!). Then I printed a sentiment and tied it on with burlap string. Love how this turned out. So cute!!

**NOTE:: I will try to get a better pic--I finished this around 11pm last night--so I will get a better pic with natural lighting in the morning:} New pics are inserted:)

My next two cards were inspired by this beautiful green necklace. I thought they looked like the peas in my digital stamp from Pholkart Blessings. I just love this card--saw the sentiment in a magazine about a year ago and knew instantly that I wanted to use it at some point. I paper pieced each pod and distressed the edges with brown ink. Then I made them 3D by adding foam dots. I love love love how this turned out:} So cute!
That's it for me--but be sure to stop by all the other EtsyInspired DT members' blogs for a peek at their amazing creations!!

FWF {October 8}

Hello, friends:}

It's FWF over at Unity--and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Unity stamps!! I have really enjoyed playing with them this week!

My first card was created for a special friend. I cannot wait to hear what she says when she sees this birthday card! I am entering it in the Unity WMCD challenge by Eryn {bday card}. I used Unity's {Samantha Walker} Encompassed Grace for the background. LOVE how that turned out! I also used Unity's Learning [Year by Year] for the circle, as well as Remember Happiness for the butterfly. I stamped the banner from Ippity's Love In Return and the sentiment from Just Wanted To Say. This card uses several stamp sets--so it is perfect for the Unity Addicts challenge. LOOOOOVE how this turned out! Love the colors--the buttons--EVERYTHING!!
This next card was created for another fab friend! This was also my very first shaker card {which makes it perfect for the Unity WCMD challenge by Lesley [shaker card]}. I wanted to make a different type of shaker--instead of a circle or square...so I picked a "speech bubble". Kind of clever--but hard to pop out with foam since the edges were so thin! Love how it turned out though:} I used Unity's wood mounted bunny stamp, along with a cupcake from my 6 Pack Unity Essentials set. I chalked the white pieces in the ears and popped the cupcake with glitter and foam. LOVE it! I loved the girl bunny so much that I made a male bunny to match! ACK--so cute:}
My next card was created using a photo of my SIL and her groom! This is one of the last cards that I am sending to her before the wedding! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this card! I am also entering this into the Unity WCMD challenge by Shemaine {photo card}. I originally had an idea for little album card...but I decided to use this sketch instead. I LOVE IT! I actually was crafting this while Skyping with my friend, Ashley from Heart Hugs Designs! I used Unity's snail from Naturally You, sentiment from Jan. KOTM, music background, tag from 100% Happy, and the word 'memories' from the set Key To Joy. I love combining sets--which makes this card also perfect for Unity Addicts challenge {use three different sets}. LOOOOOOVE this card. **NOTE:: Why a snail? Well...I was trying to encourage my SIL [a bride] to savor the journey of this next month before the wedding and her entire life with her new husband. Sometimes we get caught up in "life"...so I wanted to tell her to take it slow and enjoy each moment- making them memories! I thought it was a good connection:}
That's it for me today--however, you can hop on over to the Unity blog for a complete list of friends with flair!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I will have more crafty goodness tomorrow--new EIC challenge coming up! And don't forget to stop by the All Things Unity challenge blog--you have until October 16th to link up your creations! Another reason to use your Unity and Ippity stamps:}

Thanks again for stopping by! Be blessed!
