I have to say that picking only 10 of my FAV projects was super hard! I wanted to share at least 100 of my projects today- LOL! I tried to share something that featured some of the companies I've worked with this past year--I was so blessed to be on 10 DTs! 

#10: Momenta Pop-Up card-- I love this card because the Momenta papers are fun and that elephant is just the cutest! I really should make more pop-up cards (the tutorial was super simple to follow!)

WCMD--and some challenges!

Well--my migraine went away for just enough time so I could make a card today!! I absolutely love love love this card! I am entering it into a couple of challenges:::

• Paper Smooches Sparks challenge- I was inspired by the colors {pink/green} and I figured if someone received this little onesie as a gift, they would send a THANK YOU card:) I also used burlap on my card because I loved that ruffle texture on the onesie. 
• Simon Says Stamp- anything goes
• WCMD gallery challenge
• Hero Arts- WCMD challenge- upload any creation you made today
• Scrapbook & Cards Today Mag- "giving thanks" cards--I didn't use their sketch (because I forgot)...and I'm not sure if this is actually a "giving thanks" card...but I thought I would submit it just in case:}

I used some Echo Park papers {Happy Days and A Walk In the Park} along with several Paper Smooches stamps {Vegtastic, Fruitastic, FOLKal Points}! **And just in case PS is reading this--I masked the sentiment "we must ketchup" for the word "much"! SOOOOO fun! And it worked perfectly! I had some gems on the alphas--but Trav told me to take them off...LOVE it!

WCMD and giveaway:)

Hello, friends:}

I am participating in World Card Making Day today!!! This is my first year on the blog hop (HERE-I'm #188) and my second year in submitting. 


Last year I sent in this Christmas card. I haven't shared it all year! I just love love love this little ewe from Unity. I used some Cosmo Cricket papers and liquid applique for his wool. OH MY! Just too cute:) LOVE it!

I am having some friends over today to play along with WCMD--Here are some of my goals for this 24 hour holiday:

• I am hoping to make some cards for the Christmas/Holiday theme.
• I hope that I will be able to get them in the mail before the deadline! 
• I want to be able to finish seven cards (which is A LOT for me since most of my cards take an average of 2 hours each!).
• I would love to make it through the entire WCMD Hop (HERE)!! That's over 200 blogs!

I will keep you posted on my progress:)

All Things Unity #17 {paper piecing}

Hello, friends!!!


Today starts a brand new challenge over at All Things Unity!! OH MY!! I just love this challenge this week--we want to see you paper piece!! I love paper piecing! I do it on all of my cards! LOVE IT!! 


This first card is so fun! I created it for ATU#17 and Unity's WCMD #11 {stitching}. I just loooooove these papers from Cosmo Cricket! CC's papers are the BOMB! I paper pieced the fumes and the rocket [Unity's Little Boy set]. I just love how it pops off the page like it is flying out into space! FUN FUN FUN!

This next card was another combo card--ATU#17 and Unity's WCMD #19 {sketch challenge}. I love this sketch--so fun! I actually had another idea for a card...I might share it later! I used Unity's Little Boy set for that sweet little frog! The sentiment also came from this set. I just cant' get enough of this set--so many fun images! And I really enjoy making cards with "boyish" colors. LOVE IT:)

My last card is my favorite!! I love how this turned out! Another combo--Unity WCMD #03 {color challenge} and ATU#17. We were allowed to pick which colors we used--I picked dark green (his shirt), maroon, pink, gray, tan, and brown...looks like I used all the colors;) I used my Unity Itty Bitty Rain Or Shine with Unity's Dec. 09 KOTM sentiment, which was stamped on the banner from Ippity's Love In Return. JUST LOVE IT! I love this gift card holder!! FUN!

FWF {October 8}

It's FWF over at Unity--and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Unity stamps!! I have really enjoyed playing with them this week!


My first card was created for a special friend. I cannot wait to hear what she says when she sees this birthday card! I am entering it in the Unity WMCD challenge by Eryn {bday card}. I used Unity's {Samantha Walker} Encompassed Grace for the background. LOVE how that turned out! I also used Unity's Learning [Year by Year] for the circle, as well as Remember Happiness for the butterfly. I stamped the banner from Ippity's Love In Return and the sentiment from Just Wanted To Say. This card uses several stamp sets--so it is perfect for the Unity Addicts challenge. LOOOOOVE how this turned out! Love the colors--the buttons--EVERYTHING!! 

This next card was created for another fab friend! This was also my very first shaker card {which makes it perfect for the Unity WCMD challenge by Lesley [shaker card]}. I wanted to make a different type of shaker--instead of a circle or square...so I picked a "speech bubble". Kind of clever--but hard to pop out with foam since the edges were so thin! Love how it turned out though:} I used Unity's wood mounted bunny stamp, along with a cupcake from my 6 Pack Unity Essentials set. I chalked the white pieces in the ears and popped the cupcake with glitter and foam. LOVE it! I loved the girl bunny so much that I made a male bunny to match! ACK--so cute:}

My next card was created using a photo of my SIL and her groom! This is one of the last cards that I am sending to her before the wedding! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this card! I am also entering this into the Unity WCMD challenge by Shemaine {photo card}. I originally had an idea for little album card...but I decided to use this sketch instead. I LOVE IT! I actually was crafting this while Skyping with my friend, Ashley from Heart Hugs Designs! I used Unity's snail from Naturally You, sentiment from Jan. KOTM, music background, tag from 100% Happy, and the word 'memories' from the set Key To Joy. I love combining sets--which makes this card also perfect for Unity Addicts challenge {use three different sets}. LOOOOOOVE this card. **NOTE:: Why a snail? Well...I was trying to encourage my SIL [a bride] to savor the journey of this next month before the wedding and her entire life with her new husband. Sometimes we get caught up in "life"...so I wanted to tell her to take it slow and enjoy each moment- making them memories! I thought it was a good connection:}
