Paper Smooches: August RECAP

Today I'm sharing the Paper Smooches August release projects that I made! 

Here's what I created using the new stamps and dies, including the PS Wavy Wishes, Wavy Wishes Icons, Magical Sampler, Unicorn die, and Wavy Pattern die.

Paper Smooches challenge- September #1

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing a project for the Paper Smooches "ANIMALS" challenge for September.

I created this card while visiting with Kim during CHA in January of this year! Kim actually helped me design the cone for the dog because I just couldn't get it to work! LOL! #teamwork

I was inspired by a fun graphic designed card in a magazine that Kim and I were flipping through. I just love this pup from Woofers & Tweeters. It's exactly like Olsen:) And Olly if you take the spots out! LOL! I used the following PS stamps/dies: Woofers & Tweeters, Woofers dies, Waves dies, and Hearts dies.

ps... my studio is getting painted TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And my cabinets will be installed on Monday and Tuesday! Praise the LORD ❤️ I can't wait to share photos!!! And I will finally be able to get in my studio and craft--- it's been FOREVER!

I'm *STILL* in the process of moving- my studio won't be completed until after the first week in September when my cabinets will be installed. I CANNNNNNNNNNNOT wait! 

I created a very simple halloween themed card using the NEW Halloween Sampler stamp set, along with many other PS stamps/dies. ***So this card looks simple, but it took me almost 4 hours to make because I have everything in boxes! I thought writing out what was in each box was helpful... and it was... but I should have made an extra box for all of my "go-to" supplies so it was easier to create projects while I wait for my studio to be completed! OY! Next time---- wait! There better not be a next time for moving! LOL! 

I used some of my very old Carta Bella All Hallow's Eve papers and stickers for this project. I like the muted halloween colors and designs. I love that this Cozy Coffee die was made into a dangerous brew! Other PS stamps/dies include: Ahoy Me Hearty and Butterfly Duet.

CardMaker Magazine + CAS-Fridays blog hop

Hello, friends! 

I'm so excited to be participating today in a blog hop with the CardMaker Magazine blog team featuring CAS-Fridays Stamps. You should have arrived here today from Jeanne J's blog. 

I used the stamp set Flower Power for my card today. I created a fun pop of color in the white embossed sentiment by adding some of my Gansai watercolor inks. I was inspired by a window display at a Starbucks shop in the mall. I'm telling you, inspiration is EVERYWHERE:) I stamped one of the smaller flowers from the Daisy Chain set to create the little leaves as an accent for some of the colored flowers on individual letters. To complete the card, I added some hearts and thread. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
