I just love these eyeglasses! I just went to my eye doctor last month; I'm so glad I did because now I can see!! LOL! So while I was playing with these images, I was thinking of when I was a teacher and how fun it was to teach reading. I loved having the kids use props to help them follow along....and that is where my inspiration for this project came from. These are visual helpers for kids. They can use them to find words on the page (i.e. finding nouns or adjectives), or they can use them as they read (i.e. using the glasses to follow along--not reading through! LOL!). They can also use these glasses when presenting narrative writings--they can be a fancy girl or use the nerdy glasses for another character! LOVE the versatility of these images from SSS! I really wanted to get a picture of a kid using them--but I have not been around children older than one month! I'll post pics soon though:)
I added some embellishments for extra flair on my glasses. The ribbon can be found HERE at The Ribbon Carousel.
**ALSO--my friend, Rochelle, gave me a great idea for these glasses--they could be used for a photo booth at a party!!! LOOOOOOVE it!
