Hello again, sweet friends!
I'm back with ANOTHER Pink & Main project! This time instead of coloring I share a quick technique idea to help elevate your die cut sentiments (or any die really).
I created this very CAS card (definitely NOT my style... so it's no wonder I wanted to "elevate" it! LOL!). I created it in a few steps-- stencil the background, add a heart die cut with gold accents, and add die cut sentiment. Done!
But was it really done? Not for me. I wanted to add something extra behind the sentiment but this die cut set didn't come with an outline die to match. NO WORRIES! Here's how I created that outline image for the sentiment die cut:
- Flip the die so the word is "readable"
- Trace around that die onto paper or vellum
- cut it out, erase traced lines, and attach your die cut sentiment
See? It's that easy!! Adding outline images to die cut sentiments when none are available can be done with literally ALL of your dies!!!
I hope that this inspires you to try this technique on your next project!! Please remember to share what you create so I can leave you some love ❤️
That's it for me today. Happy crafting!
THANKS so much for stopping by!
Be blessed ❤️
