Reverse Confetti: Thanksgiving Card (a bit late)

Hello, friends:}

I knew I had created another card for Thanksgiving.... but totally forgot about it until NOW! LOL! I am featuring some  Reverse Confetti stamps and dies. 


This is a VERY simple card-- I needed a thank you card for a friend of ours, and he is very kind/simple... this card is PERFECT for him! 

I used the new RC Tag Me die along with the RC Forever Fall stamp set. I paired that sentiment up with some silverware rub-ons and the Basic Grey Persimmon papers. I finished the card off with some May Arts Ribbon burlap twine. 

See? I had Thanksgiving on my brain for this card--- and totally forgot to post it! LOL! 

Now I know this card is simple... but there is detail in that banner! I actually extended the RC Tag Me banner die by using an embossing mat (and following THIS video).

Reverse Confetti Fun and a challenge

Hello, friends:}

I had some more time this week to get creative with my Reverse Confetti's stamps and decided to play along with the Whisker Graphics tag challenge. 

This card was supposed to be very CAS-- and I'm talking SUPER clean and simple! However, after stamping the sentiment six times on four different tags and ruining each one.... I had to give up CAS and go with my normal mix and match of patterns/designs/colors. ***(happy sigh) Now that's more like it and my style:)

I used some BasicGrey Kneehighs papers with some Whisker Graphics Lemon divine twine. I also used a WG white tag as the base for my sentiment, which was individually stamped from the I Like You and Dream in Color RC stamp sets. LOOOOOOVE how this turned out!

Mama Elephant Highlight- Flashy Letters

I feel in love with a recent layout shared on the TwoPeasInABucket pinterest page by Liz Kartchner-- and that is where I got my inspiration for this card!! 

I love these new papers by BasicGrey {Kneehighs}!!! SOOOOOOOO cute!!! I absolutely love love love these papers with the new ME Flashy Letters stamp set! I love the glittered sentiment AND the dark and light embossed top part!! SOOOOOOOO AWESOME:) I also used some arrows from the ME Trifecta and Today Was sets-- LOVE! I've got to say this might be one of my favorite cards-- LOVE!

RCC#80: Showers & Flowers {post1}

Have you played along with this month's Ribbon Carousel challenge yet??? The RCC is now doing monthly challenges with a huge prize at the end for one lucky player!!! The prize::: a ribbon carousel!!!!!! This month's theme/challenge--- Showers and Flowers! 

I created another simple card for today-- I'm kind of liking these CAS designs! LOL! I focused on the "flowers" part of the challenge-- I did begin a baby shower card... but I just couldn't get it to look right. I will hopefully finish it this week and share later:)

For my card, I used some of my new BasicGrey Kneehighs papers with the Paper Smooches He Said, She Said and Flap Happy stamp sets. I think the Lemon divine twine by Whisker Graphics matches PERFECTLY!!! I love how the twine is randomly tied and then stapled down-- SUPER cute;)

Paper Smooches SPARKS Jan. Designer Drafts

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The second week of the month is always a DESIGNER DRAFT challenge. 

This week we are inspired by the following sketches: 

I love love love my card....and I think it matches 99% of the sketch on the left!!! HOOOOORAY! **I only changed the size of the panels and then I made my card more crooked...not on purpose, but this paper pad really plays on the eyes! Oh! I also made this card more of a square shape.

I used Basic Grey Clippings papers {available HERE from the Ribbon Carousel} for this card. LOVE the patterned papers--but like I said earlier...it really plays with your eyes and how straight things might be! I only used two Paper Smooches stamp sets: Cuteasaurus and Word Salad. LOVE x10000! 

I added glossy accents on the dino's spots to make them pop!

2 CAS cards with StopandScrap.com

Today I'm over on the StopandScrap  blog! Be sure to stop by there and leave some love!! 

CAS cards are my favorite to make right now because 1) they are clean and simple and 2) it doesn't take a lot of time (and time definitely moves quicker now that I'm getting older! LOL!). 

I created a quick friendship card using the NEW Echo Park release: Sweet Day. This collection kit has everything you need for several CAS cards. I used three different papers and a sticker from this kit. LOVE how this turned out. And the sentiment is TRUE: friends do make everything better:) 

Supplies: Echo Park papers and stickers, black cardstock, EK Success punch

For my second card, I used the same Echo Park collection kit. I made a birthday card using two different patterned papers, a sticker, and a sentiment. I added some glitter and gems for extra pop! Again, this sentiment is TRUE: cupcakes make everything better:)

Math Game using Avocado Arts images {post1}

Today the Avocado Arts Pit Crew have created some amazing projects to share with you! We all used the AA May stamp set, Thoughts and Smiles Be sure to stop by the AA blog for more information and LOTS more inspiration!

I made a children's game for today's project. I used some of my Basic Grey PB & J papers for my number pieces and the box to hold the instructions/etc {available HERE from StopandScrap}. I stamped that little Avocado Arts ladybug image about 80 times! I laminated everything and cut it out. I love that you can use these AA images for just about anything! 

**My advice for making these ladybug game pieces-- print off a paper with 1" squares, stamp images and spray with Workable Fixatif, color each image and spray again, laminate, and then cut out. Spraying this image with the fixatif each time prevents any smearing! 

Here's the game packaged up in a white sheer bag. It's perfect for my little friends:)

I made this game for some of my little friends! They loooooooooove Math, and I knew this would help them with their operations and counting. I took some pictures of them playing with their new game. 

Game ideas for ages 2-4: The kids could count the ladybug pieces to match the number that they've drawn from the game pack. 

Game ideas for ages 4+: There are several Math operations printed on the game pieces. Have the kids pick out one operation and two numbers. Ask the kids to match up the ladybugs for each number and then figure out the math problem. {6+4= 10}

Ilana has also matched up ladybugs for her answer:) Toooooo cute! 

I couldn't resist sharing this pic! These are the cutest kids ever:)
