Whisker Graphics: my FINAL project

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing my FINAL Whisker Graphics creation that is featured on the WG blog-- you can also read about this creation over on the WG blog HERE.

I'm prioritizing my schedule and commitments because I want to focus more on my calling and position as a Worship Leader for New Hope East church. That means that I had to leave a couple of teams... and one was WG

This saddens me so much because you know how much I love love love my bitty bags! LOL! But (here's the GOOD news).... I know that I will be purchasing more bitty bags from WG when I need them for parties, gifts, etc! So this really isn't the last goodbye... I'll be sharing WG on my projects in the future:)

So today, I'm sharing three easy projects! The first two are bracelets (leather and a larger string) wrapped with WG solid divine twine colors! These are super easy to make and are a fashionable accessory to any outfit--- wrapping bracelets with divine twine also adds a bit of flair and "life" to your older bracelets! It's a great way to upcycle or put life into something old:)

WG Coral, Yellow, and Gray solid divine twine on a leather bracelet with a charm
WG CoralRed, and Deep Pink solid divine twine on a larger white string wrap bracelet

I also had time last month to create another SUPER EASY project--- I bought this burlap bag around Valentine's day. I cross-stitched over a white heart on the front of the bag using some WG Coral solid divine twine. LOOOOOOVE how this turned out! I think that this would be perfect for a young teenage girl... maybe for her make-up bag? Or even for pencils or other goodies!
That's it for me today! And be sure to stop by the WG blog for more inspiration. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, Joy {and the WG team}, for allowing me to play with and feature WG product on my blog for 3 years! I've enjoyed every minute of this adventure with you!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Whisker Graphics: Birthday Celebration

Hello, friends:}

***GIVEAWAY details below!

Today I'm sharing my Whisker Graphics creation that is featured on the WG blog-- you can also read about this creation over on the WG blog HERE.

Today is also my BIRTHDAY! WHOOP WHOOP! And I'm giving away a prize to one of YOU!!!!! Be sure to check out the details below!!
So to celebrate my birthday, I created some fun decorations using WG divine twine! I've made some divine twine tassels (following THIS tutorial). These are great for presents and for decorating birthday balloons!
After I made several tassels, I added them to some balloons filled with helium and tied them to a golf tee. This golf tee holds the balloon in place perfectly!
We cut about a 6 foot strand of divine twine for our balloon decorations.

Look at how pretty these balloons and tassels are!
Here are couple of extra ideas for this party decoration:
  1. Use only one WG divine twine color to make these decorations POP!
  2. Make your tassels a bit longer and fuller!
  3. Add a letter to each balloon to spell out the birthday boy/girl's name!
  4. Use colored balloons to match the WG divine twine
Giveaway details: here's how to win- follow along with the giveaway widget below. Please note: Complete as many entries as you wish! Some entries can be done daily! There are EXTRA entries:)
Winner announced on my blog on the 9th of August.

That's it for me today! And be sure to stop by the WG blog for more inspiration. Also-- did you know about Whisker Graphics's new products??? Check it out HERE

Sandwich bags and utensil holders with Whisker Graphics

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing my Whisker Graphics creation that is featured on the WG blog-- you can read about this creation over on the WG blog HERE.

I just love my bitty bags from Whisker Graphics!!! I was thinking about the sizes and different ways to use these bitty bags. I decided to make some picnic goodies for when Trav and I head to the beach this weekend:) I used the litte bitty bags to hold silverware, napkins, and a straw (I also placed a small note inside Trav's package!). The Middy Bitty Bags are the perfect size for a sub from Publix. I love how these turned out!!
You could use these bags for just about any party-- use primary colors for a child's bday party, use one color for a bridal/baby shower, use a different colorebitty bags for each sandwich (ham is in green, turkey in blue, chicken in yellow, etc.), or use just the kraft bitty bags and stamp a sweet message on the front for literally any party:)
Trav and I have different colored bags--that way I know which sandwich is his!

That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Whisker Graphics blog for more inspiration. And stop by their shop too!!

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Bag Lady

Hello, friends:}

HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!!!!! He is RISEN!!!!!!!!!! HallelujahToday is also my friend's birthday! Please wish her a happy birthday with me:) HAPPY HAPPY birthday, Brigid!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy your special day- Psalm 118:24!!!!!!!

Today I'm sharing my Whisker Graphics creation that was featured on the WG blog earlier this week. You can read about this creation over on the WG blog HERE {it was featured on 4.3.12}.

I just love my bitty bags from Whisker Graphics!!! And because I'm known as the "Bag Lady" (because I LOOOOOOOOVE purses!)-- I decided to make three different bitty bag projects. These projects range from easy to medium-detailed:)

For my first bag, I used some WG Goodies Bitty Bags to send some packages to my sister-in-law and friends. I packaged everything up, taped the top of the bag with double sided tape, and added a WG Sweet Sticky Labels for the addresses. Click HERE for instructions on how to print your own labels.  SO SIMPLE!!!!!!!!!!
My second bag was featured on the Play Date Cafe challenge last week {click HERE for my original post}--I used some WG Diagonal Bitty Bag to hold some chocolate marshmallow bunnies. LOVE it! I also used my bunny images from Sweet Stamp Shop
My last bag is a bit more detailed. I used several papers from my Momenta Cuddle & Coo pad to embellish this WG Pink Frosty Bitty Bag.  I also three different WG Divine Twines: Lemon, Cotton Candy, and Purple Plum. This was actually an easy bag to make--just fill bag with baby goodies, tie the top down with divine twine, add fussy cut images, die cut elephant and balloons, add letters!!! Ok--that wasn't soooooo simple:)
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Whisker Graphics blog for more inspiration. And stop by their shop too!!

I'm sooooooo excited to share with you my very first Whisker Graphics creation! You can read about this creation over on the WG blog HERE {it was featured on 2.7.12}.

I've been thinking about what to share as my first WG project for a week! I was browsing through my Inspiration File and FOUND something from two years ago! I know that decorating spools is really in right now, but I wanted to take it a bit farther!
I wanted to decorate my wooden spools with a fun note or message. So I tied some Whisker Graphics Divine Twine to a small message (that I stamped using some Paper Smooches and Avocado Arts images). Then I tied this around the spool. SUPER easy! I also decorated some of the WG notebook bitty bags (these are my FAV bags EVER!!!).
This project also fits the Simon Says Stamp challenge-Love is in the AirThis Peppermint twine was perfect for this Valentine's Day message:)
The Airmail twine really fit with this AA stamp set--and to finish off this bitty bag, I used some WG Love Mail stickers. PERFECT!
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Whisker Graphics blog for more inspiration. And stop by their shop too!!
