EIC #95 {post 2}

Hello, friends:}

I'm super excited about joining up with the EtsyInspired team!! Today is my first official post with them! I was a Guest DT back in April--and was sad when I had to end my term...but good things come to those who wait:} I LOOOOOOOOOVE the EtsyInspired challenges!

This week's featured Etsy store is KimmieProut. WOWZA!! Kim makes the coolest embellishments from polymer clay! Colorful and whimsical! Super cute! And our sponsor this week is Pink Cat Studio!! This week there are two winners::: 1) $15 gift certificate to KimmieProut with free shipping and 2) 5 free digital images from Pink Cat Studio!!

I was in love with two specific button embellies over on KimmieProut. So I made two cards...my first card was inspired by these beautiful green, red, teal, buttons. After looking at them for awhile...I noticed that I had several stamps that matched the designs. I used my jar stamp, along with Unity's You're A Doll [stitches], Encompassed Grace [flower/circle], 6 Pack Unity Essentials [flower], and a free stamp from Unity [not sure the name]. I also used Unity's Stuck on You set for the sentiment. If you look closely you will see that I stamped the jar on transparency to make it look like the buttons are being held in a real jar. Super fun!!!
**NOTE:: You can kind of see the transparency...

My second card was inspired by these pirate buttons. Of course I knew I had to use my Unity Pirate Madness stamp set!! I just love how this card turned out--it kind of looks like another card that I made awhile back. So fun!!
That's it for me today...be sure to head over to EtsyInspired for all the deets on this challenge! And please stop by all the other DT members' blogs--they have some beautiful creations to share with you today!!
