PDCC36 {post #2}

***Scroll down for my Growing in Unity Day #5 post--all comments count this week:) So comment here too!

Hello, friends!

What a fab day!! We have a new color combo over at The Play Date Cafe and new badges {Thanks to Lisa and Paul B. for helping us make these badges!!}!!  If you play along with us,  you can save this badge and link it to the PDCC on your sidebar! How fun!! **NOTE:: Be sure to grab the HTML for this badge so it will link back to the PDCC. We also have a FABULOUS Guest Designer this week---Kelly Marie Alvarez, owner of Lawn Fawn stamps! She is also our sponsor this week!! HOOORAY:} And GOOD NEWS::: Kelly is offering one player a new stamp set that will be released soon! So you will be one of the first to get this FAB stamp set! WOW--I wonder if I can win??? How fun!!
This week's color combo was picked by Julie Ranae! These colors together just scream LOVE! And our DTs made cards using birds and cages! I took a spin on the love + bird theme. I just love this card {ha--I used a love theme...and I love this card!}! I used the bird from my Unity Where You Are stamp set. I embossed it on pink, red, and white cardstock. I printed the sentiment and it was done:} Love simple! And what a great color combo!
I liked this color combo so much--that I made another card with birds and cages...I just printed the background off and added the embellishments. The bird is from Ippity's Fall For You set.  Super fun!

Be sure to stop by the PDCC DTs' blogs. Some of them used a die cut from Tim Holtz...LOVE it! All the cards are BEAUTIFUL

Hi Savannah~

Wow! The timing is interesting that you left me a sweet comment yesterday, and all of a sudden I saw your name listed on Lisa Somerville's blog! I'd say it is a coincidence...but I don't believe in them! :)

You made such a sweet and smart card. It is adorable! I love the different bird cage stamps you have...awesome collection! I don't
know if you printed the sentiment by stamp or by hand, but I love the design of the writing! If it is your writing...you should sell is as a font!
