Today I'm sharing a SUPER simple birthday card that I made for my little friend, Aydan. He is just tooooo cute.
Photo by Amanda

I love {LOVE} the SSS stamp set Furry Friends Forever! It's perfect for so many cards-- Easter, Friendship, Birthday, Hello/TOU, boy or girl cards...OH MY! I used some of my old My Mind's Eye Lime Twist: Fly A Kite paper along with the raccoon and log from this SSS set for this card. SOOOO simple! SOOOO perfect:)
How did I create that image and oval together?? I used my SCAL program to make an SVG that would cut part of an oval. Then I stamped the image and cut it out. EASY! Here is a Crafty Tutorial video that I made for this SVG/card!!!
That's it for me today--I just love using my SSS images!

Be sure to stop by the Sweet Stamp Shop blog for more info on this card and to see what the owner of SSS, Nicole, has been up to! Paper Made Bakery--Guest Designer 3

Hello, friends:}

I'm back with another Paper Made Bakery Guest Designer project--I only have one more week left!!  I used my PMB December kits {available HERE} for this very simple Christmas Thank You card. You really can make so many creations with these papers, buttons, twines, and stamps!!

I was trying to think outside the box for this card because this kits has gorgeous blues, browns, pinks, and oranges for the color story....I was thinking, "How can I use this kit for Christmas?" And then it hit me--I looked closer at the kits paper and noticed that there were some REDS too!!!!! I used the red striped paper from my December kits paper pad {My Mind's Eye Honey Cake} along with the red card/envelope as my base. I die cut some leaves from the Home Accents cartridge from Cricut and added some gems. Finally, I stamped the sentiment {which is included in this kit by Memory Box} and VIOLA! A simple (CAS) Christmas card!! And I love it! I think it turned out FAB!!!

That's it! I cannot wait to make more cards using my Paper Made Bakery December kit!! Please make sure you stop by the PMB blog {HERE} and check them out on Facebook {HERE}. ******Be sure to become a fan on Facebook--there's a giveaway once they get 100 fans {they are SOOOO close!!}!!! Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge {12.15-12.28}

Hello, friends:}

**Please click HERE or scroll down for my Play Date Cafe  post!!

Today we start another photo inspired challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog.

This week we are getting inspiration from these decorated A&W containers. SOOOO cute! And perfect for the holidays! Of course, I was inspired by lots of elements...1) the Christmas theme 2) the multiple reindeer  and 3) Rudolph's nose.  How does that translate into my card??? 1) The Christmas theme made me think of Christmas songs--so I stamped some of the song "Deck the Halls" using my Paper Smooches Alpha Dots stamp set. 2) Next, I saw multiple reindeer and thought I would dress up [several of] the Dachshund image from the PS stamp set Santa Paws. His sweater was created by stamping his body on patterned paper, cutting part of it out, and adding marks for his neckline, arms, and body. I think the sweaters turned out FAB! 3) And finally I added a red nose to the top dog:)
Papers: Echo Park  Dots & Stripes Christmas, Dots & Stripes Metropolitan
That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love.

  • And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends Dec. 28th. I cannot wait to see what you make!!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

We are starting another color story today over on the  Play Date Cafe blog! It's one of my favorite color stories this week-- A SPLAH of COLOR!!! Our sponsor this week is Cindy Coutts.

I just love color splashes--because it makes you really think about stamping and adding a bit of color into your creation. So this week, I used my new Paper Smooches Forest Whimsy images to create a stamped scene. **I also used my PS Word Salad set for the sentiment. I just love that gnome!!! And my splash of color comes from my Turquoise ink. Simple and FUN!!!
I added a bit of foam behind the birdie so that he stood out a bit. LOVE!

That's it for me....but be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for complete details and prize information! The PDCC sponsor this week is Cindy Coutts. Be sure to link up your creations by Tuesday, Dec. 20th at 11:59pm EST.

Just in TIME:)

Hello, friends:}

I have a quick post for you tonight! I am super excited that I found some time to play along with a challenge tonight--Random Fun Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. Cath has asked us to create a project with buttons, alcohol beverages, or mustaches. Of course I was going to be inspired by the mustaches!!!

I used my new Lost & Found Two Breeze papers by My Mind's Eye {available at the Pumpkin Spice shop}. LOVE that patterned paper! I also used some images from my Paper Smooches Chubby Chum Pals set. I love those face images--and it was perfect that there were three with glasses but one missing a nose/mustache!! The sentiment is from my PS Word Salad stamp set.  LOVE that twine--adds the right amount of texture {available at The Ribbon Carousel}. LOVE LOVE LOVE this card!!! **I also love those alphas--yep! I used more Scratch 'n Sniff letters!! LOVE!
And before I forget...here is a smiley face with a mustache:

:{)

TOOOO funny!!! Do you see the mustache??? LOVE!

That's it for me today! I will be back later this week...or maybe sooner if I can find some time to get crafty!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Many blessings!!

I finally decided to use my newest Crate Paper Portrait collection pad. LOOOOOOOVE these colors and paper designs! I used a simple design to make a Mother's Day card. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches {Word Salad}.
