In Love...With You

Hello, friends:}

I've got a fun card to share today-- I made it just for fun (kind of)! I was trying to play along with a couple of challenges but like the typical-Savannah-card.... I went overboard and my card/design doesn't match the challenges anymore! LOL!

I created this super cute love card using my Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes, A Little Lovin', Falling For You, and Spiffy Scooters stamp sets. I wanted to make the sentiment a bit light so that you could read it as "Love You" or "I'm in Love With You". The papers are from Crate Paper's Story Teller collection. LOVE esp. that little bunny!
I did end up fitting this card into one challenge---Make an Itty Bitty Card Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. This card is 3" square.
This card also fits in with the Simon Says Stamp challenge- anything goes:) HOOOOORAY!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back with more crafty goodness soon:) Be blessed!

Just for fun:)

Hello, friends:}

It's been awhile since I've updated you on my publications.... I really have fallen behind!! I did take six months off last year from submitting (it was just too hard to create and submit while being on 10 DTs). I'm happy to say that I'm back to crafting for pubs-- with fingers crossed because getting published is a tough competition!!

The other day, Trav and I were at Hobby Lobby getting a frame/cork board for my studio. I noticed the Vintage magazine {Northridge Publishing} on a rack. I thought to myself, "Self...I wonder if you are in that magazine?!!" I was shocked to see that I was on one of the pages!!! My ribbon necklace was featured:)
Now my goal is to update my Resume page on my blog-- but that might not happen until later this year:) I've got to figure out where I left off and what I need to add! LOL!

THANKS so much for stopping by and sharing in my excitement! I hope to share more publications soon:)

I hope you have a FABULOUS day! Be blessed:}

Paper Smooches SPARKS Cool Shades {post1}

Hello, friends:}

**After 9amEST--please click HERE for my Mama Elephant highlight post!

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The third week of the month is always a Cool Shades challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following color story "Royalty":
Navy, Fuchsia, Teal, Grey

This might shock you.... but this card literally took me almost a WEEK to create! I tried so hard to think of something funny to say for the shrimp image {PS Surf & Turf}....and NOTHING! Then I asked Trav last night because he's the guru of searching for things....and within two minutes he gave me this idea! LOVE it! He's so smart:)

I used some old Echo Park Dots & Stripes papers {some available HERE from the RC} as my card base. The hardest part of this card was masking each of the words-- they are from LOTS of different PS stamp sets {He Said She Said, Vegtastic, Alfresco, Cuteasaurus, Smarty Pants, Sunny Side Up, and Woofers & Tweeters}. Totally worth the trouble of masking and inking!! LOVE
That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details!!!! This challenge ends January 27th. I cannot wait to see what you make--I just LOOOOOVE my Paper Smooches stamps. ***Did you see the giveaway that Kim's doing over on the PS blog??? For a Friend

Hello, friend:}

**Please click HERE for my Mama Elephant Highlight post.

Today I'm sharing one of my FAVORITE cards that I've created-- it's for a special friend who has just lost her friend. I never like making "sympathy" cards... but each time these cards end up being in my favorite pile! Maybe it's because they mean so much to me and are a way to share God's love/peace/comfort to friends/family.

Anyway... this card uses some Basic Grey What's Up papers {available HERE from the Ribbon Carousel}, as well as the Paper Smooches Flap Happy stamp set. And yes....I used ribbon on my card! **I know I'm a ribbon hoarder, but I just had to cut this sky mauve vintage seam binding {available HERE from the RC} because it matched perfectly! :)
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by tomorrow another Mama Elephant Highlight (another FAV card!!)!!!

THANKS so much for visiting! Be blessed:}

Mama Elephant- Starry Night Highlight

Hello, friends:}
Today the Mama Elephant design team is taking a closer look at the Starry Night stamp set. Be sure to stop by the ME blog for more details and inspiration!!!
I used several stamps from this new ME Starry Night stamp set. I researched what the "Leo" constellation looked like, stamped the image, and highlighted it with a glaze pen. I created that background design, which makes this card perfect for the Make Your Own Background Paper Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
I have to say that these papers are SUPER difficult to photograph! I'll try to upload a better pic soon:)
That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by all of the ME DTs' blogs and the ME blog for more inspiration and details. **New ME Stamps are available NOW!!!

Mama Elephant- Cosmic Stars Highlight

Hello, friends:}
Today the Mama Elephant design team is taking a closer look at the Cosmic Stars stamp set. Be sure to stop by the ME blog for more details and inspiration!!!

I don't know anything and totally oblivious when it comes to astronomy and cosmic stars!! So when I saw that little Sagittarius image in this ME Cosmic Stars stamp set, I knew I wanted to ink it up for a valentine's day card. I LOVE how versatile these stamps are:) I pulled out my Crate Paper Fourteen pad {available HERE from the RC} and then masked and stamped several sentiments using ME Cosmic Stars, On Target, and Believe in Magic. LOOOOOVE how this turned out. **I showed Trav and he asked if I'm going to give this to him on Vday! LOL!
LOL--I think the heart is a bit high for the arrow to hit it....but I tried:)
That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by all of the ME DTs' blogs and the ME blog for more inspiration and details. **New ME Stamps are available NOW!!!
