FWF and winner... :}

Hello, friends! And friends with flair!!

Today is Friday with Flair over at Unity! LOVE this company and the stamps! Just ordered three new sets last week...two more sets from Limelight yesterday...and I got my new Ippity order already! The Ippity release is coming up--May 13th! Can't wait to show you what I made:}

My first card was created for the FWF23 challenge. Our inspiration was a card done by the awesome Lynn Miller! She is super sweet and creative! As soon as I saw her paper--I thought of my new Webster's Pages. I know that they don't look anything alike--but that is what I was reminded of! I also used her idea of taking a word and isolating it. The stamps I used were from Unity's Soiree and Such set (tag), April KOTM (sentiment), Oct. 09 KOTM (dragonfly). The dragonfly has three sets of wings--two with text and one transparency. I know it is hard to see the swirls coming off of his body....probably should have used a different DP--but I LOVE that Webster's Pages! Just ordered another stack from Limelight

This scrapbook page was for the Unity Birthday Scrapbook challenge. I loved the LO with the circle on the bottom. I instantly thought of a huge daisy that was cut in half. I love this page [I know--I've only done 5 or so...but it is still my FAV!]. I used Unity's/Donna Downey's Where You Are flourish stamp for the watermark on the top half. I also used Unity's Remember Happiness set (butterfly) and April's KOTM (sentiment), along with Ippity's Straight from the Heart (sentiment under pic) and music stamp from Music of My Heart. I stamped the Love Blooms first and then did the watermark (I masked the sentiment--super fun). I also stamped the butterfly several times to get a 3D look. The antennae are made from brown burlap string--available...yup! At Limelight!

I wrote the story in after taking the pic:}

My next two cards are for the EtsyInspired challenge! LOOOOOVE this challenge! I was inspired by the owl at Isabell's Umbrella Etsy store. I had to use my new Unity stamp set (from Limelight)--Sweet and Stuck on You. This owl is SUPER CUTE! This card is a mini again--only 2.5 x 4 inches!

This next card was inspired by the invite. I loved the cream background and blue bird. So I paired Nina Brackett's Bright and Grungy digital yellow polka dotted paper with Unity's  Feb. KOTM bird. TOO CUTE! I also used Unity's Soiree and Such big invite stamp. Love it!
My last card is for a friend's brother who is graduating. I used gold metallic paper with the Soiree and Such invite stamp as the base of the card, sentiment, and cap. I used Unity's Love Grows (for the brackets). I like how the cap has a gold tassel. Fun! I will type the rest of his letter/card and cut and paste it later.
That's all for me right now! I am working on another Nina Brackett card for tomorrow--can't wait to share it with you! Super cute! I also will have a fun gift to share next week--for any bride-to-be!

Be sure to check out the other FWF creations HERE! LOVE Unity and the peeps:}

And now....the WINNER! For what?? We have 100 followers! HOOORAY! Thanks to all who follow me! The winner will get some paper, ribbon, and a couple of random Unity stamps!

ETA::: A new winner has been picked. 5.22.10
