FWF {August 6th}

Hello, friends and friends with FLAIR!!

First of all--THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all the birthday wishes! I had a great day--and all of your comments made me feel extra special:) THANK YOU for making it a great day!

Now on to my Unity creations! I just LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Fridays! Love my Unity!! This first project was created for the FWF36 challenge. I was inspired by the bird, banner, and theme {birthday} of the inspiration card [left]. I used Unity's What a Hoot owl. I love this set! I paper pieced him and used glossy accents on his eyes and to add glitter on his tummy! The banner was created by cutting the paper and sewing it down. I actually saw a scrapbook page LO just like this--it was SUPER cute! I just looooooooove this card! So fun!

My second card was created for the Paper Crafts Go To Sketch #5. I just loooooooove how this little snail turned out! I am also entering this card into the Everything But The Kitchen Sink {button} and A Latte Inkin' Fun {fav embellie--buttons (esp. if I stamp on them)} challenges. I love stamping on buttons! I used Unity's Naturally You [snail] and 100% Happy [sentiment & strawberry] sets for this card. I just love the details and the bias tape....the gems...the colors...LOVE it ALL! LOVE it:}

My last card was created for the Get Sketchy #49 {which I never know when the challenge ends! I must be missing something!} and Jazzy Paper Designs challenge. I actually flipped both sketches--they looked similar. I thought that the sections at the bottom looked like these candy shelves stacked {Unity}. The sentiment is from Unity's March KOTM. I actually had to make this card twice--the silly glossy accents wasn't dry (maybe I should say that the crafter was impatient!!!). I used glossy accents to make the jars look like real glass! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this card! Super cute!
That's it for me today....but be sure to stop by:::
