Hello, friends:}
We are starting another color story today over on the Play Date Cafe blog! This week's colors are softer but masculine-- slate, moss, bark, and burlap.
I have to admit that I sat for a long time trying to find papers that matched these colors! LOL! I think they are gorgeous--but I was looking for masculine papers {something I don't have much of!}. I finally found some basic cardstock that matched. The moss cardstock is actually Authentique patterned paper. LOVE! I used my cricut to make a negative of a sentiment, added some burlap twine {available HERE}, and that's that! EASY! Simple design--simple card:)
That's it for me....but be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for complete details and prize information! Be sure to link up your creations by Tuesday, January 24th at 11:59pm EST.
Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Oeh, I like this! Love the shape of the letters here! And the colors are gorgeous together! Something very different than your previous card, but that's just what I like with you! Always something surprising to see!!!
Hugs & happy day to you,
Wendy
Nice job on the sentiment...it looks really cool! :)
GORGEOUS!!! I loveeeeeeeee how you did the sentiment! :):):):):):):):):):):)
Boldly fun Savannah! I like your use of negative space for the sentiment!
This is fantastic! I love the use of the large sentiment!
Oh Savannah I agree with the others; your cut out sentiment is wonderful!
Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful. Love the negative image...
I love how you did the negative image!!! Great job with that color combo, too.
Nicely done, Savannah! I love that you've used your Cricut to make the negative work for you! It's perfect! Fantastic card and the colors are perfect!
Is it okay that I say that I love it when you're negative?
First of all, snaps to Trog... I love it. Second of all, I love this card - I like the fact that the ing is separated from the first half of the word, gives it some character, fantastic!!
Oh, now I see! At first I thought you had stamped this old-timey sentiment, but now realize it's die cut. How clever of you!
LOVE the way that die cut panel looks like it is a yummy, wood piece! Beautiful take on the color story!
I LOVE how the sentiment is cut out, another fabby creation :)
