2025: MORE Sympathy Cards (again) [card #308-309]

Hello again, sweet friends!
Pink & Main came out with the sweetest pet sympathy stamps/dies called Pet Angels. I do not have any pet sympathy card needs at the moment... but it's always good to have a few on hand just in case!
I also paired each card/color design with the NEW P&M Rainbow Embossing Powders

That's it for me today.

2025: Another Sympathy Card [card #317]

Hello again, sweet friends!
This sympathy card was for a friend- we had been praying for his little cousin to receive healing from cancer. Unfortunately, she passed right before Thanksgiving. Good news is that she knew Christ and is healed and whole now- praise the Lord 🙌🏻

This friend wears black every Sunday (and mostly throughout the week)- so the design was simple with a black leaf and gems! I love having a texture element on my cards and the cork paper (it's real cork) worked perfectly in this design.

That's it for me today.

2025: MORE Sympathy Cards [card #320-324]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I received MORE news of friends, neighbors, and AFWS clients that had passed recently. I usually don't make the same design for my cards, but I just didn't have it in me as sympathy cards are the hardest for me to make!

So I changed the cardstock color and gems for these three cards.

I think these sympathy cards are STUNNING! I pray that the Lord would comfort them during this difficult time, and that my cards will help them look to Christ for strength as they grieve❤️ 🙏🏻

That's it for me today.

I posted this very shimmery, shiny card on IG earlier this month! I absolutely LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the shine! Read MORE about it HERE and see it SHINE HERE
These papers are from the YourPaperInsider Box 13- they are the specialty papers for this box! And when you have papers so beautiful.... you need just a simple sentiment!!!

That's it for me today.

2025: Wise Men [card #338]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I had some time before leaving to create a quick card that focuses on a very important detail of why the Wise Men sought Jesus--- it's because they came to WORSHIP Him!
*Side Note: The wise men didn't come when Jesus was BORN... they came when Jesus was an infant (maybe 1-2 years old). Technically the wise men were NOT a part of the manger scene.

I love that this card was easy to make and focuses on worshiping Jesus. LOVE LOVE LOVE

That's it for me today.

2025: P&M Advent Creation- Thinking of You [card #337]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I am enjoying opening the Pink & Main Advent Calendar goodies each day--- it's my first time ordering an advent calendar! I have posted a daily video/reel (very short!!!!! No longer than 25 seconds!!) on my IG page. I'd love for you to stop by and say HI!

The story behind this card is a "challenge"- I am mentoring (well... I'm trying) a newly engaged young woman/friend. She came over on Friday last week, and we ended up crafting a card using some of the P&M Advent goodies. [side note: She is probably my #1 fan because she watches EVERY P&M video I've posted! LOL!

I let her pick out all of her supplies, create a design, and taught her how to color (she is DEFINITELY a pro at coloring!!!). When she was done, I saw there was a foil negative scrap. I knew I had to challenge myself to make something using it!!!

Here's a photo of her card-- it's AMAZING! It's her first card in Savannahland2!!! And even better- she is going to send it to a friend to cheer him up! So sweet;)
This photo doesn't show how pretty the foiled background is--- plus, it's too blue! I had to take a photo in the afternoon.... I need to learn how to take better photos! LOL!
That's it for me today.

Hello again, sweet friends!
I'm popping in quickly to share a card that I loooooooooooooooooove! It's simple yet has lots of detail!!! I enjoyed making this card:)

I used several NEW Pink & Main goodies for this card- see details below!

That's it for me today. I have lots to do this week--- prep posts, cook meals for Trav, and pack for a quick trip home for a funeral. I'll be back with MORE soon:)

2025: Foiling Twofer Cards [card #282-283]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I've said it before... but I'm going to say it again:
  1. I looooooooooooooooooooooooove my Pink & Main Mini Minc machine- I love love love to foil different elements for my creations!
  2. And I loooooooooooooooove a good #twofer design! And that's what you get when you foil- a positive and negative design!!! Two cards for the price of one:)
I love this set of cards because of the NEW P&M Translucent Opal cheerfoil- it makes the background design (from the P&M Winter Poem foilables panels) look like iridescent snow!!! It's sooooooo pretty! 👀Be on the lookout on my IG stories- I'm going to try and share how this cheerfoil SHINES!!!!
As for my colroing- I've colored 256 images so far in 2025! That's way more than last year! LOL I don't think I've improved my skills much... but I have learned that sometimes two colors is just fine🖍️ I'm hoping to start a new tracker next year--- I already track coloring images and now I need to add foiling!
That's it for me today.

2025: Retirement Card [card #307]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I've had some fun the last few weeks creating for Pink & Main's NEW release!!! I love the Scallop Corner Pocket dies and used them to create a pocket and shaped card for a retirement celebration.
I even used the P&M Retirement Fun stamps to add something INSIDE the card *GASP*!!!! I NEVER NEVER EVER stamp inside my cards... but with this card, I just couldn't help myself

2025: YourPaperInsider Winter Wonderland [card #329]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I don't know why my photos do not look good on my blog!??! OY! Sorry! This is a pretty card in person!

I had a lot of fun creating this card using the NEW YourPaperInsider Box 13 goodies

I noticed that the first five papers in the box were all hues of blue and knew immediately that I wanted to create a snowflake using ALL of the papers❄️

All I did was cut two or three strips of paper from each color and then layered them behind the large white snowflake. I added a few ribbons and thread for extra dimension. I love that background paper too--- it's shimmery and looks like the wind that is blowing. This is the kind of "cold" I can handle😉

Here are the YPI Box 13 papers that I used:

❄️ Light Blue Living Wave Gmund Vibe

❄️Eucalyptus Curious Metallics

❄️Aurora Origami Gift Pack- blue

❄️Amazon Blue Lessebo

❄️Silver Holographic Micro Mosaic

❄️Light Blue Mizutama Rayon

❄️White Holographic Confetti Jr.

2025: Deepest Sympathy

Hello again, sweet friends!
We have several friends and family that are experiencing loss at this time- it's so sad! And to top it off... I do not like making sympathy cards. They are the hardest for me to make!

I have to constantly find inspiration for my sympathy card designs, and this one was no exception. I found a card with three embossed panels that were inked and a simple sentiment. It was perfect... but my card was a bit smaller so I only used two panels;)

I pray for my friends and family that the Lord would cover them with His love, surround them with His presence, and comfort them with His peace during this difficult time 🙏🏻❤️

That's it for me today.

2025: Simon Says Stamp DieCember release

Hello again, sweet friends!
I'm so blessed to be joining in the fun with Simon Says Stamp and the NEW DieCember release

I received the Chunky A2 Scallop Rectangles dies--- which is PERFECT because scallops are PERFECT on ANY creation!
I created some foiled nameplates and tags using some Pink & Main foils and foilable toner sheets--- these could be used for the holidays but also for any gathering or present just by switching out the foil color and pattern design!
I also created a few cards- this first one is a CAS winter card using the SSS Stacked Holiday Sentiments set
The next two cards were created using the SSS Dahlia background stamp and Timeless Blossoms stamp set. These cards were supposed to be different... one a layered panel card and the other a shaker card. However, I messed up and accidentally taped down the panels before I remembered I was making one a shaker card🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 It's ok though because I love how each card turned out!

That's it for me today. Be sure to shop the NEW release HERE!

2025: 19 years with Trav- second card [card #304]

Hello again, sweet friends!
Click THIS link to see Trav's first anniversary card, themed with a YAM!

And because I love Travis so much... I made him another card for our 19th anniversary!

Another fun #SAVfact: I call everyone a goose when they do something silly (or annoying).

Trav and I true goose...gooses😂 but not because we are annoying... we are just silly! For example- Trav always thinks of fun things to do for our anniversary. This year I was ill and still in a boot, so traveling was not happening. Trav came up with an idea for something REALLY fun for us to do---- we were going to see a "show" a day! *Not every day was a real show... but we made it work!

Sunday- Men's Basketball game (I do not like sports but it was AWESOME! They went into overtime!)
Monday- Jazz Choir Ensemble concert
Tuesday- Palmetto Pans concert (think Jamaican steel drum concert)
Wednesday- we traveled to Greenville to see The Sound of Music (I've NEVER seen it before!!!)--- I also got ill that night :(
Thursday- Choir concert in an old church, mostly a cappella- lovely!
Friday- The Importance of Being Earnest (we saw this in a circular theatre--- very intimate and funny!)
Saturday- NeedToBreathe concert

Different and fun! Where the silly part comes in is that on Monday and Wednesday we also went to the COURTHOUSE! We always watch crime/law/court shows, and I've talked about going to the courthouse to see how a real case plays out. So Trav took me! I have to say that I feel bad for both cases tried those two days... they were sad situations that ended badly. But I will tell you that I learned a lot about court! We saw a jury selection, motions, pre-trial witnesses, and a plea deal. It was so interesting!

And here's how silly we are---- in one case, the state attorneys were looking at us with a side eye constantly. We were the only ones in the gallery "watching". After an hour and during a small break, one of the state attorneys came over to us and asked what we were doing. Our response: we are just observing! SILLY GOOSE!

I wish I could tell you MORE about our special day and all the fun things Trav plans for me, but you will just have to trust me that we are silly:)

That's it for me today.

2025: 19 years with Trav [card #303]

Hello again, sweet friends!
On November 10th, Trav and I celebrated 19 years of marriage. It feels like yesterday- I'm so blessed to be married to him <3

Fun #SAVfact: the first year we were married I found a Thanksgiving card I wanted to give to Trav (I made cards back then but wanted to give him something else because I wasn't confident in my cards just yet! LOL!). I looooooooooved the card sentiment and simplicity of it [see below]--- I YAM so thankful for you! The next year I found the SAME card and bought maybe 5-8 more because I wanted to give him one each year- that's how much I loved it!
Well... I still have two of those cards left because I ended up having a stamp created [probably illegal but Staples did it anyway! LOL!]. I use that stamp to make Trav cards all the time! I even had an idea that if we were ever having a baby that I would make him a card that said "I YAM pregnant"--- that never happened so I told him my secret card idea a few years ago. LOL! I'm sure he forgot about it! LOL!

This year for our anniversary I wanted to pull out the YAM again... but I had a different idea. We are remodeling my craft studio (see THIS post) and I picked up loads of paint chips for a fun decor idea in my studio. One of the paint chips was YAM... PERFECT:)

And that's how Trav's first anniversary card came about this year.

That's it for me today.

2025: With Sympathy [card #300 +301]

Hello again, sweet friends!

We've had so many friends and family who have experienced loss in the last month that I've had to create almost 10 sympathy cards😞
This first card was created for a friend who lost her dad. I love how this card turned out because the ink blended background was created when I worked for Imagine Crafts Tsukeniko almost 10 years ago! I saved that little design for *just* the right card!
This next card was my 300th card for 2025 (I just finished 328!). This pet sympathy card was for my sweet aqua fitness student and his family. He lost the sweetest pup a month ago. Broke my heart since we moved away and haven't seen any of the family for a year. I knew I had to send him a special card <3

I'm a bit behind in posting ... I'm going to try and catch up this week:) I also have loads to create... so be on the lookout👀

That's it for me today.

2025: Congrats [card #305]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I heard some AMAZING news a few weeks back and created this card for my friend to celebrate!

Unfortunately, I just sent it out this week 🤦🏼‍♀️

I ended up writing "open to celebrate" on the envelope because it is filled with die cut stars!

It's a simple design with a big celebration inside;) That's it for me today.

2025: Warm Winter Wishes [card #296-298]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I created some super easy holiday cards using the NEW Pink & Main Winter Wishes Word dies- one die set!

I know you can't see the detail on the snowflakes, but I added some Ice Rink glitter and Touch of Gloss to add some shimmer! It's so pretty in person!

I'm also sharing two different ways to make this card- one card has a full cardstock panel as the front base. The other card has a white base with a colored cardstock panel as the center focus. Both are pretty!

That's it for me today.
