Paper Made Bakery April Kit creations

Hello, friends:}
I've been sharing my Paper Made Bakery creations over on the PMB blog with just sneak peeks here...so I created a post with all my creations that I made using the current month's kit supplies.
The PMB April kit, Walk on the Bright Side, was packed with lots of buttons and embellishments, along with papers and stamps from Lawn Fawn. This was a super fun kit to play with:)

For my first creation, I created an adorable card by placing lots of patterned papers together and adding different embellishments and punched borders/edges. I shared this for our release hop! Read more about it HERE. **This was an extremely hard card to photograph!
For my first PMB post, I created a simple CAS card. LOVE the design and the fun colors! Click HERE to read more about this card. **Another extremely hard card to photograph!
I made another simple card using the "blocking" technique. EVERYTHING on this card is from the PMB April kit. Read more about this card HERE
Then I got a bit fancy! I used the Action Wobble that is included in the April kit to make this easel card. I love love love it! You can read more about this card and the tutorial HERE.
And I created two CAS cards using the leftover scraps of my April kit. I love that pink/red paper in this kit!! Click HERE to read more about these CAS cards.
That's it for me today! I'll be sharing more Paper Made Bakery goodness soon! We have a new kit coming for May! HOOOOORAY! The PMB release blog hop will be on May 1st--so mark your calendars! You are going to LOVE this new kit!!!

PDCC #108

Hello, friends:}

We are starting another color story today over on the  Play Date Cafe blog! This challenge will last for two weeks--you have until Nov. 29th at 11:59pm EST to play along:)  Our sponsor this week is Lawn Fawn
I created a simple gift bag for a friend. Just wanted a simple design with beautiful flowers. I used some beautiful basque seam binding {available at The Ribbon Carousel} with some flowers that I had in my stash. I just love the flowers layered together! The stamp is from Lawn Fawn's Blissful Botanicals set. EASY!
I matched the flowers PERFECTLY by holding up my iPhone with the inspiration photo. Drat it all--my editing for the white bag turned them colors! Promise--they are the same colors as the inspiration photo!

That's it for me....but be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for complete details and prize information! The PDCC sponsor this week is Lawn Fawn. And don't forget--this is a two week challenge that ends Nov. 29th at 11:59pm EST
Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}

PDCC #100

Hello, friends:}

Hoooooray for another fun day over at the Play Date Cafe! Today starts a brand new color story-pastels! And we have a new sponsor--Lawn Fawn!!
This new color story made me think of fall and Thanksgiving. I received Blissful Botanicals from Lawn Fawn {THANK YOU!}, and the sentiment was perfect for my card sketch/idea! I created a fairly CAS card with just patterned paper to match the two orange hues, and then I paper pieced the leaves together with some white flowers and gems. I added the sentiment in the circle with a glittered butterfly. Easy!  I used more oranges than green because I wanted just a hint for the leaves.
That's it for me....but be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for complete details and prize information! The PDCC sponsor this week is Lawn Fawn. And don't forget to stop by all the other PDCC DT members' blogs-- AMAZING!!!

Today I'm sharing three cards that I made--I couldn't help myself! Cathy Walters has super cute pendants!! This first creation is actually a tag. It was created using my Artistic Outpost stamps. I stamped the background with the text/eggs and then distressed it. I wanted it to look as close to the inspiration photo as possible. Then I stamped the nest and cut it smaller--then using my brown burlap string {available at Limelight}, I made the nest 3D! LOVE it! Then I made the eggs blue--it makes them pop more. The sentiment is from Ippity's What Matters Most set. LOVE LOVE LOVE this tag!!

This next card was inspired by the owl pendant and created using woodgrain paper from DCWV. The owl and sentiment is from Unity's What A Hoot set. LOVE it! I wanted that owl to look like the photo--but with more color and dimension!

My last card was created based on the butterfly pendant. I really liked how it looked with words and a butterfly--so I created a muted red and brown card. I love how the metal frame holds the sentiment {Ippity's Regal Greetings} and butterfly {Unity's Naturally You}. I wanted the butterfly to be with more shine--so I added glossy accents. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

That's it for me--but there are prizes waiting for you! I will be giving one lucky person the Unity set How Far Can One Go. ACK--LOVE LOVE LOVE Unity!! And don't worry--there are prizes on each of our DTs' blogs!! So stop by there to win a prize:
