Paper Smooches SPARKS October Trend Watch challenge

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!!

The first week of the month is always a TRENDS WATCH challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following photo:
I was worried that I didn't have any "lace" for this project and wanted to go shopping... but upon further inspection of my "craft store" in my closet (see THIS video for more info), I found two beautiful lace ribbons! HOOOOOOORAY that I actually had lace.... BOOOOOOOOOO to not being able to go shopping:)

I needed a birthday card for Trav's Gran, so I matched up some of these lace ribbons with my new 6x6 Pebbles Walnut Grove papers. LOOOOOVE how this turned out! I actually followed an OLD Paper Smooches sketch for this card. I used a pretty sentiment from the Paper Smooches Salutations set and then embossed the silhouette image from Pretty Momma on some corkboard. LOVE LOVE LOVE

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love
And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details!!!! This challenge ends October 13th. I cannot wait to see what you make--I just LOOOOOVE my Paper Smooches stamps-- did you see the new stamp sets??? I literally just got my package of new sets and dies the other day-- LOVE x100000!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Next time you'll know NOT to check your supplies first before you go shopping, Sav. :P But since the ribbons are perfect for this sweet card, it's all good.

Perfect X beautiful for Trav's Gran! Papers are amazing - Pebbles, Walnut Grove, you say...added to list :-). Lace - score in finding some in your stash, but yes, boooo to not shopping! Embossed cameo, on cork - awesome! I know Gran already loves you to bits and pieces, but this card will just add more to the bits and pieces that she loves about you! Fabulous!! What an awesome grand-daughter-in-law you are!!
