CardMaker Magazine + Quitefire Designs blog hop

Hello, friends!

I'm so excited to be participating today in a blog hop with the CardMaker Magazine blog team featuring Quietfire Design. You should have arrived here today from the Diana's blog.

I used the Merry Christmas Flourished Tree stamp set to create a chalkboard holiday greeting card. This was so simple to make (again- I need to go simple due to my studio STILL being in boxes...in the living room! My cabinets should be installed by next FRIDAY! Praise the Lord!).

I did ruin a bit of the embossed tree while rubbing ink and pencil over it to make the chalkboard look (notice parts of the embossed edges are peeled back in the close up photo above)... but I like how it turned out! I added a bit of Martha Stewart Smokey Quartz glitter to add a bit of pop for the start topper!

***GIVEAWAY***
Click HERE for more details on how to enter to win the hop prize! Quietfire Design/Suzanne Cannon is hosting a giveaway on their blog for a $50 gift certificate to their online store! Visit their blog for more details.

Your next stop is the fabulous Teresa's

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy hopping! Be blessed:)

Love the chalkboard effect. The miniscule bit of embossing that got marred is not even noticeable. Gorgeous card.
